"Let's explore!" That's what I love about your channel. The issue with visibility reminds me of when I went to Ely cathedral, and I climbed up the tower but couldn't see a thing once I was up!

Thank you very much! I was a shame about the fog, I can imagine the saw thing at Ely Cathedral. I saw it from the train yesterday and would love to visit again and climb the main tower. I did go up the lantern tower a few years ago.

Halden municipality shared your video on their Facebook page, so I just had to have a look! Thanks for showing our town in a beautiful way, even though you visited us on such a foggy day 😊 If you ever come back, you should get a local with you the whole day, so you get the history of Halden. We're the only town mentioned in the Norwegian anthem (under our previous name, Fredrikshald), we stopped the Swedes from invading, and we've got the countrys tallest building. Lots of fun facts 😊

The country is beautiful. I like the climate over there, very different from that of my country, Argentina.

Something called the cannon run or the bell tower run is arranged, which goes from the square, up the zig zag road, and all the way up to the white bell tower at the top of the fortress. The trail starts at Halden square at a height of 2 metres, and finishes at the top of Fredriksten fortress at 122 metres. The trail is 0.8 km long. Fastest time is 3:27 :D Try to beat it next time you're there ;)

Thank you for watching and telling me about the cannon run! Sounds like fun but I'm no athlete, it would be an interesting thing to see take place! :)

The 3 small fortresses is a part of the outer defense system in the way that they make a triangle so that it's hard for the Swedish to attack:)
