The merit of the big ten was great, but they are not as important to the historical record of Islam as the first two generations. The legacy or each is much greater then even the narrations of prophet's family and close companions. We are seeing a narrowing of the variety of authentic knowledge in the faith being spread. Trusting your own conclusions should not be out of disrespect for difference in opinion or predecessors. We should all be willing to go to the hard work to find the religious knowledge to benefit ourselves and others. Like Bukhari, we should try to only present the best and to understand the story of the people telling the information. It was studies of people's backgrounds that got many doubts of faith cleared up by showing the troublesome narrations that were complete enough to judge were from doubtful sources.

@@rizwanmahmud93 Your logic is flawed , because impersiblity does not need evidence , permisiblity needs evidence. I give you examples. Can you show me inpersiblity to give azan for eid salah , can you show me impersiblity for not praying four rakkats in Fajar salah , can you show me impersiblity not to pray six salah in one day. Whatever excuse your Barelvi Moulvis bring up , bring it up to me , I will answer him.
