i swear to god these 2 men are going to be part of Chinese folklore in 100 years from now
@ignismaniaco99357 жыл бұрын
dr. crab , They'll be Chinese spirits in ancient lore that people tell each other for fun and joy. Haixia and Wenqi spirits, and best friends. They play in the trees outside the village, nurturing and looking after the thousands of trees they've created. They will have two stone burial temples in the center of the forest, where you can go to say your hey and hellos. If you plant a seed in the forest, it is said to bring you eternal happiness.

Alot of comments talking about #teamtrees and their numbers. 20 million (20,000,000) is indeed much more than 10,000, but the story here is about the friendship and long-time determination of two disabled friends and their commitment to planting an amazing amount of trees with little resources (from interview and you can see in the video, they cannot afford saplings so they snap small branches off trees and keep watering them). At the end of the day, I guess its a matter of scale. For example, China is planting reported 2,000,000,000+ trees yearly, to a point where they are pushing back an expanding desert, regaining about 3000miles^2 of forest from desert per year. The general stat of this is true, as NASA has also shared satellite images that overtime, China has gained a larger amount of tree foliage compared to the rest of world which has stayed constant or decreased (india also has increased greens). 2 disabled men planting trees based on the power of friendship and desire to do good for their village despite drawing tough cards in life vs a global campaign led by Mr Beast, influencers and multi-million/billionaires to show the internet community can make a difference in the world vs a centralised government of the worlds most populace and top two strongest economical countries planting trees in order to retain land for agriculture and human inhabitance. 3 different scales, 3 different resource pools, 3 different outlooks on planting trees but all amazing in their own way.

My mother actually told me a story when I was young(we’re Chinese) that a long time ago a man who was blind and a man who was lame were traveling and met up at a crossroads; they both wished to travel the same way so the blind man offered to carry the lame man while the lame man directed the blind man, and they went along together. This video just reminded me of that story; it was from a chinese storybook for kids but I was just so surprised that an actual living pair of the same people existed and were also heroes in their own right!

It is true that the evils and selfish tend to have more power and viewed, and it's not just about the government, it's about everyone and it happens also in every other countries. I agree that the evils and selfish is viewed first is because people choose to ignore the good ones and chose to focus on the dark news instead, they over exaggerate and will not try to see things from different perspectives. Anyhow, stop being so sensitive for Christ sake. Let me tell you an extra fact, I am Chinese therefore I can read Chinese but I can also read Japanese and English. From KZbin comments (and weibou and bilibili) I have find this weird trend of Chinese people getting overly offended when anyone say something related to China. Also I see people (including the Chinese) talking about some bad things that exists in China yet people get so offended by it. This need to stop because not every country is perfect and just stop raging because I see that in other languages as well but no one over reacts to it as much as we do.
