I love this show. It is neither overwhelmingly in-your-face nor does it use unrealistic/out-of-character endings or outbursts. Quite a great way to get a laugh that isn;t cheapened. :)

For some reason I had a premonition of a scene pop into my mind where Fred throws a loaded gun on to the desk and then looks at it and then looks at Christopher and makes a shooting motion at his head with his fingers and hand. And Christopher is like, "You want me to succumb to the shame and guilt of my heinous crimes and take my own life right here in front of you at.....THE FRONT DESK." And we think the scene is over, but it cuts back to Fred...pauses a second...then he does that little Fred Armisen grin/smile and emphatically nods his head up and down. Also, I a little high right now.

1. Had a guy like this, wasn't a guest and it turns out that I'm bad at charades. So was the police officer later on. 2. Another guy asked if his friend Mr. Pot was in the hotel and if I could help him find him. 3. Had another fellow ask if their friend, Ms. Marijana was in the hotel. I was at a Beatles giftshop in Vegas and Fred Armisen walked up and grabbed a Beatles refrigerator magnet that I was looking at. I said "Hey... I loved you in Tim and Er-----" He promptly interrupted me with a wacky face by saying "HEY! ... I loved you in the the gift shop." Without breaking eye contact with me, he slowly walked to the register bought his magnet and on his way out the door, he blew me a kiss. As a front desk agent I would love to say that really strange guest interactions don’t happen it they do almost everyday. Literally had to call the cops on some weird dude today

@@Leo-sd3jt haha, I wrote this 3 years ago so I don’t remember which interaction caused this comment. In short I have called the cops for drunk ppl at the lobby bar, fraudulent credit cards, refusal to pay bills. Some tried to present a diners club card as payment once. I have called to cops to evict someone out of their room, domestic abuse. I had a guest live with us for like a month. He was an extreme alcoholic, and I felt bad, but he kept passing out drunk in his bed and peeing/defecating on himself in his bed. Housekeeping couldn’t take it anymore and so we had to kick him out. So one started a fire in a room. Exotic animal in the room. I have had guests say strange things to me, like very personal. I have had spouses trying to find their partners cheating. I don’t work for Marriott anymore (the pandemic took care of that for me) and while it was a wild ride, I am sooooo happy to be out :)
