Do you think Darwin Nunez has been one of Liverpools best players? Both have 11 goals, Nunez has 8 assists and Havertz has 5 assists. The eye test gives you the same results. Both praised for good positioning both criticised for poor execution. Havertz has done well enough to keep his place at Arsenal but he should not be starting every game for next season. What you guys don't understand is that you can get a striker that score 40 goals and actually score less goals as a team. What Kai does is make movements that create goals for others, he might not be directly involved in the goal but his movements is just top top. If we can sign a striker that makes the team mates better, then fine but the only one right now in world football is Kane and we won't get him. Just name one striker that will make the other better? There's absolutely zero proof that Kai Havertz is the highest paid player at The Arsenal. There's plenty of speculation, but nobody has ever seen his contract and/or photograph of said wages total. Also, James has either misread the story of what we are supposed to be going for in the summer or he's deliberately misleading others. The story said that Arsenal are thought to be changing their striker requirements due to the impact that Havertz is having. This is more than likely to mean we could be changing our targets for the front man position instead of not looking for a striker altogether.

Havertz links the play from a number 9 position and he does his defensive part as well out of possession. From that perspective he is better than Haaland. Does he have that fantastic pace? No? As long as we pass and move and interchange quickly Spurs will not have a clue how to defend that and when they do it will be too late and if we can get a couple of goals up maybe we then play counter attack with 11 behind the ball coz Spurs don't like low blocks.

Keep Havertz at 9 and see what happens at this point. He looks like he's better there. It is up to him to prove it. Let's be real. He was not cutting it at the 8. We need another DM and LB. We do not have a left footed LB. That's bananas. That would be my priority in the transfer window.

Havertz is currently our most effective forward player. He's got the belligerence needed and is technically there though he's timing is a bit off. Saka, trossard , jesus can let you down if all doesn't come together. Havertz won't. Turkish... has watched all of arsenal games this season and he has to be open-minded to reshape an opinion which was formed apriori. That lack of flexibility makes him incoherent.

Martinelli is striker and I think next season we will not sign striker particularly when we have Jesus martinelli Havertz. I think if reis Nelson leaves then we will sign a winger to cover Martinelli trossard and saka. If Jesus gets injured again we will probably break the bank for a striker... I pray he doesn't get injured again. We could've won the league if the ref had better game against Newcastle and West ham

Crazy to think Arsenal not signing a striker because of Havertz. I love Kai but this is foolish to me. I've backed him and want him to succeed but he hasn't worked in many games and a whole season at Chelsea up front. I think hes better as a CAM/ false nine but whilst his movment, positioning and touch is great he is not clinical. If we don't go for a striker then its madness to me.. Jesus can play on the wings, ESR & Vieria can play in MF - we need a replacment for Partey that and a striker is priority for me.

Havertz is a better player, he don’t slow down the pace or tempo of the game. Jesus holds the ball too long. All these aftv people can’t seems to analyse ffs. Remember the Aston Villa game, it was all bcos Jesus starts. He wasted chances and did not pass the ball quicker.

At the start of season he had some struggles adapting to a new team and playing a new position, although the rest of the team also struggled to pick out his runs and feed him the ball quick enough.
