Make sure you always use organic lemons, especially if you are going to consume the peel.

The end you cut off is the stem end where it grows on the tree. The other end is the blossom end. Thanks for the grate 🤭 idea. I'm definitely going to be using it. Blessings to you and yours 🙏❣️

There are more nutrients in citrus peel than in the pulp so this is a "grate" idea. :D I know...all puns are bad.

I see what you did there with that *grate* idea. LOL

Who knew? Just throw them in a freezer bag and pop them into the freezer! So easy, even I can do it!!! Thanks so much for the help, because I was wondering how I was going to make use of the rinds which I know are too bitter for me to just eat! Mixing them with the rest of the frozen lemon in a grate and putting them in with my foods is an incredible idea! Thanks so much for your video, and congratulations on baby #2! You'll get the hang of it all soon.

Thank you Roni for showing us how to freeze a lemon. I think it's a great idea and I loved the video. I wondered if I could ask you to try and speak a little slower as I am from England and can't always catch the american accent. I wish you and your family well.

You could also re-freeze the grated lemon for the winter. Then you have a flu & sore throat remedy with honey & boiled hot water. Also you could the lemon for prawns , fish & any seafood. Now my teeth are watering lol. Great video + GreenLiteBites

I have just read some of the comments below. Take no notice . It was a lovely video and came out very natural. Funny how people can be so negative about someone who is giving us help. Maybe they are jealous. ah ah . I will look for more of your videos.

Any tricks on what to do when you get near the end of the lemon and not grate your oven gloves. This would definitely happen to me.
@suki94 жыл бұрын
How about washing them, cutting, removing seeds and blending with water, then freezing into ice cube trays. You won't have the extra work of grating frozen lemons which will be slippery with or without oven mitts.

I’m thinking lemon curd. I want to know how to use my frozen lemons in my lemon curd recipe. And I can’t find one “frozen lemon” conversion. 😩

Commercial yogurt is loaded with sugar, preservatives and who knows what else. I eat natural keifer which I add some stevia to, and some organic assorted nuts, not only is it delicious but it contains probiotics which commercial yogurt I doubt it does.

Donna, I froze some lemons, took one out yesterday, and tried to grate all of it. I got so tired. Do you have another way to grate the lemon besides manually?

Hiya, Thx for the idea. I tried it, but it tasted awful. Since the rind is also included. Sooooooo.... I hacked your process as follows: Buy lemons, wash them with a mixture of peroxide w/ water solution. Dried with clean kitchen towel. I then put in freezer, waited 2 days until completely frozen. I then ZESTED them and used a potato slicer to remove the rind. From there, I cut the lemon in half, removed seeds and thinly sliced them. Then, I put back in freezer and next day ran it thru my Ninja blender (the small one) and added the lemon zest. From there - I added Organic Concentrate lemon juice (store bought), gave it a good mix and poured it onto a ice tray. You can leave out the zest and just freeze in a small container. I don't do vlogs, so feel free to make this one, if you like. Email me and tell me how it went. I mainly use this for my daily drinking lemon water.
