Bought red pebble leather Cassie 19 with leather top handle, leather crossbody strap and leather covered heart strap which are all detachable - US$350.00/CAD$475.40. Coach Outlet has Coach Reserve Rainbow leather covered short chain strap (23” long) - US$66.30/CAD$90.06 with free shipping. I absolutely love Tanners video! The moment I seen it pop up, I clicked so fast 🙈 Marvin and Clara dont get along. By Clara’s account 😹 both cats are fixed but after so many years, she still hates him! Newton gets along surpisingly well with both cats. So hes kinda like the happy medium 😹

I really like the move behind coachtopia but just can’t seem to find something that I’m willing to spend on. It is as everyone here feels - overpriced. How does the coachtopia leather feel in comparison to a bandit? Cos I also own a bandit and wanna use it as a benchmark.

It honestly feels very waxy/plastic like and doesnt feel that nice. Period. I cant even make a comparison between the two because the Bandit full grain leather is LUXURIOUS! 🖤👜

The designs are super cute. Love the vibe. But those prices? MAMA NO. I love that mushroom bag charm too…. but NOT for that price. I think you’re right, they’re high along with those prices. I feel like this collection won’t do very well long term sadly. Love you Scotty!

I bought 2 crossbodys and returned them because the bonded leather felt plasticky to me. I did love the resin accents tho. If they’d have been half the price I may have kept one. I do realize tho it actually costs more to reuse scraps etc that have to first be made into a useable material, however I think this is why I prefer real leather. The designs are cute tho, esp the Ergo

To be honest, bonded leather isnt a new concept, so Im still confused how it could be more expensive than typical leather products. It might be an “additional” cost ontop of already buying leather, but its leather scraps already processed, therefore it goes through less steps. If they’re deconstructing bags, thats still cheaper labor than sewing a bag up. And with the Coachtopia designs, it looks like minimal craftsmanship actually goes into the bag itself compared to a regular Coach boutique bag we know and love. All in all, I could have Stuart Vevers himself come up to me and tell me it costs more money, and I would never believe him for a second. 🙈🤐

Maybe I need to watch the video again but none of the styles stuck out to me and are begging for me to buy them. I can get down with the concept of coachtopia but nothing really jives with my personal style, maybe the tote bag because my longchamp le pliage has literal holes lol it has seen better days but it’s still going strong after 10 years , college & then kids !! 😂 anyway as a mom I need a wipeable throw around tote with my kids, and I’m in the market for a new one. thank you for sharing an up close and personal look at coachtopia !!

"Is Coach high?", lol. I like the wavy card case! But it is $85 USD, and the zip around card case with pillow quilting from retail is $95. That's the tone Dawn loves Couture did a great review of comparing it to her Chanel card case. That same retail Coach card case is on sale at Macy's right now for $70. Why pay this price for Coachtopia? I honestly think, profits aside, it's not cheap to recycle. There's a lot written about how often, recycling doesn't save much money. For some stuff, economically, it's not worth doing. And sometimes the recycling produces its own kind of waste, so it might not even make sense environmentally. The way to have the best environmental impact is to produce and use less from the get go ... or, it could just be that Coach is high.

Hi Scott, I really enjoyed watching this (Watched it on my tv and commenting on my phone) it felt like I was with you shopping. I wonder if our coach store will get these also? Yes overpriced for sure. But I wonder if it takes more work to recycle than it does from starting from new materials? i’m just wondering if the people that are buying up cycled will pay more because it is up cycled. I believe they think they are helping to save the environment. The $64 million question is this true? The card cases are my favourite. yes cherries shimmer. Is that a raised cherry print on the ergo bag?. Some of those resin chain straps are really cute. Love your adorable rogue that you’re wearing on that day. I decided to buy the top handle, rogue flap bag with oxblood interior colour. I want to see what it looks like and if I don’t like it, I know that it can be returned. I never unwrap them until I am totally sure I’m going to keep them I’m concerned about the weight being too heavy. The Coach store is far from my house so that’s why I’m doing it.
