I’m afraid this is kind of how I predicted full moon would go in my prediction. I thought it was mostly just gonna be him and stole us being seen throughout most of the episode and we kinda got that in a way however I had a feeling there would be a hand off with the crystal signify the end ofthe relationship they somewhat had. Only for one of them to completely break out. I’m not well for lack of better words and I apologize for the pun demonizing with blitz here but he doesn’t get it. They’ve been through so many times this is what he thinks Stolas wants he doesn’t realize that he doesn’t want that kind of relationship. He wants one where both of them can love each other for who they are. I would make a comparison to one of my friendships where two Characters why ship half a more wholesome relationship not necessarily for pleasure but more so because they like each other for who they are in the sense that they love each other dearly and just like you know spending time with each other and enjoy with each other’s company and obvious comparison would be fizz and Ozzie. it’s obvious they love each other their relationship despite what they kind of represent is pretty wholesome and some regards and I think the song crooked just encapsulates that Ozzie doesn’t care about what fizz looks like he loves him. He doesn’t care what happened to him. He doesn’t care about it his appearance at all he just loves him dearly because of what he says in the song. With blitz doesn’t get it clearly he’s broken. Now I understand the impact this episode left, but because of the prediction I made I feel like I was kind of expecting what to happen that still doesn’t mean left me with a lot to think about it’s a great episode. It’s just doesn’t get it. I don’t think he’s gonna get it until the final episode of season two and how things are going. I don’t think it looks well for him, especially with the next episode apology tour and the upcoming one in November mastermind. Sorry for the very long comment. This is just how I think and I don’t know if I’m gonna post another comment explaining who the characters are since it’s kind of my own daydream fanfic scenario it’s nothing weird or gross NSFW I don’t write that it’s nasty.

This might sound weird but I absolutely LOVE how childish and exaggerated Bitzø’s body language is while he’s screaming at Stolas, because it really highlights just how long he’s been holding onto this inferiority complex of his, and how it was instilled in him at a very young age. When he says ‘smaller’ he does a gesture, when he says ‘important’ he throws his arms, the whole time he’s screaming he’s throwing his body around like his emotions are just too large for his body, exactly the way overwhelmed children do. It’s so sad because it just puts extra emphasis on what we already know-Blitzø has been made to feel tiny and unimportant since he was a literal child. And that stays with you.

Yeah, while I get why Stolas felt so hurt by it, I can also understand that Blitz's reaction basically comes from his fear and insecurities. Something he may really regret in further episodes, but we will see how this goes. I just hope they will sort out things somewhat by the end of the season.

I love how you're including Blitzø's perspective in all of this. It's also so obvious that Stolas rehearsed this, and so as soon as he got what he thought was his answer, instead of waiting for Blitz to process and understand, Stolas just started shutting down because he had this depression on the back burner that was going to trigger if it didn't go the way he wanted it to. Stolas has given Blitz so many moments for him to realize how much he cares. He wanted to just chill with him. In texts he’s told him. After Ozzie’s he told him. Yes, it’s rough of Stolas to drop him, but if I had 1- hung onto Blitz for so long, and 2- experienced such deep feelings for someone, and was immediately (though Blitz didn’t mean it) seemingly mocked for them, I’d be upset too. However, it would feel more like Stolas to have given Blitz at least a day to step back, and fully absorb everything.

That’s where my problem kind of comes in with it, I love the scene so much, but it’s so reasonable for Blitz to be confused and overwhelmed and then be so quickly dismissed before he’s even allowed to properly think about what he was told, that would hurt like hell as well. So it’s a mix of just heightened emotions from both sides that’s hard to comprehend for them

Exactly. When they were chained up together, Blitzo explained to Fizz that Stolas has continuously been attempting to extend olive branches to him, and Fizz, who does not know their relationship from a hole in the ground at that point could clearly tell that Stolas *really* liked him. But Blitzo was in 100% denial mode. This is very consistent behavior from Blitzo and you can even see it in his side of the opening song where his inferiority complex once again puts him into denial mode.

Okay, I gotta say that you explaining what Blitz said at the end there is really thought-provoking for me. I watched the episode on my own twice and I couldn't wrap my head around what exactly Blitz was saying and I don't think Stolas really got it all either because he only picked up on the "rich pompous asshole." All I got was a lot of anger and over so many things in his life. Both speeches were incredibly heartfelt and heartbreaking at the same time. However, there's a difference between them. Stolas had literal months to really think about everything and form the conversation exactly how he wanted to. He was able to word everything transparently and how he wanted to say it. However, Blitz, on the other hand, DID just have this sprung upon him and wasn't able to have a continuous line of thought to convey his true feelings. He has negative feelings flooding back to him from his previous relationships, he feels angry for being ambushed like this and, at the same time, feels like he's being thrown to the side because his self esteem is so low that he doesn't believe there's a universe where Stolas would want him for HIM and not his dick. Also, I don't know if you caught this but he tried to apologize as Stolas teleported him away. 🥺 Here's to hoping he can give a PROPER apology to him in "Apology Tour!" 🥺🥺

I completely agree about the final scene feeling rushed and not having enough room to breathe and show them processing their emotions, but I was very relieved at how well they did the scene regardless. Room for improvement but they still did it really well, it's a pretty understandable conflict from both parties. It seems like Stolas, despite articulating to himself his missteps in his relationship with Blitz and seemingly acknowledging it would be understandable that Blitz would have issues with how their relationship has been, was only ready for Blitz to either completely resent him for it and not want anything to do with him, or be completely fine with everything and forgive him and jump in his arms saying he loves him... It doesn't seem like Stolas was ready for Blitz to be confused or have complicated feelings that they needed to talk through first, so at the first sign of anything short of a storybook romance ending, he cut and run. It doesn't help that Stolas has never done this before! He thinks love is supposed to be simple and straightforward, either it's there or it's not, if he confesses Blitz should know he's telling the truth because why in hell would he lie obviously if Blitz doesn't know he loves him it's because he doesn't want him to love him! He knew he hadn't treated Blitz with respect, he HAS treated Blitz as lesser. He KNEW that, but the fact that he has primarily thought about that under the train of thought of "Reasons Blitz Wouldn't Want To Be With Me" made him to afraid and hurt to actually engage with the fact that Blitz might have a problem with that EVEN THOUGH he loves him. So as Blitz is saying "I'm not letting you throw me away like I'm nothing, I'm going to fight you on this, TURN AROUND AND TALK TO ME ABOUT THIS, YOU SONUVABITCH." all he's hearing is that Blitz is hurt and resents him and has this entire time, without realizing Blitz isn't really pissed about everything up until now, he's pissed Stolas is pushing him away AFTER everything up until now.

from blitz's perspective stolas is there just bc as blitz himself said "it's a novelty to him", from his pov stolas is only there bc of his fetish. and to be fair it's not like stolas gave him an indication of it not being that, if anything he unintentionally proved that view many times (him never properly calling blitz by his name, him constantly highlighting his "itty bitty impish"ness). so of course it's not only out of nowhere for blitz, but it's also hard to believe. so yeah, you're right in saying that he's justified

This conflict between Stolas and Blitzø is just so much more complicated than can be put into words exactly. It’s a reminder that Stolas DID use Blitzø for his own wants, not because he actually cared for him. LATER, those feelings came up and he began to regret his actions. Blitzø has been so used to selling himself out that when faced with a different outcome, he thinks he’s being tossed aside. He’s begging to let him try NOT because he loves Stolas, but because he’s afraid to get out of the contract, which he was so used to. His anger is completely understandable and justified, as to him, Stolas used him for a while then tossed him aside when it was inconvenient. (And also, to be fair to Blitzø, he really was just a butler to do stuff when Stolas wanted it). Blitzø needs to learn self love and respect before he even TRIES to get back with Stolas in any shape or form, and Stolas needs to heal his internal issues and self worth.

Apart from the weird insertion (giggity) of the cherubs and the D.H.O.R.K.S. I really liked the episode as it shows that relationships can be complicated and communication is key on making things work. I feel for the both of them because Stolas was incredibly earnest, wore his heart on his sleeve and wanted his relationship with Blitz be the opposite of his relationship with Stella- while Blitz's so deep into his self-esteem issues that even when Stolas gave him the crystal so they can have an actual honest romantic relationship; Blitz's first thoughts were: 'Oh no, maybe he did get bored of me' 'What did I do wrong?' 'Am I not enough?' And his first instincts to protect himself is to lash out. I want these babies on therapy, stat! Even if Stolitz is not endgame, damn it I want Blitz to be happy!

I was afraid that would be how it ended. Blitzø puts up walls and hides behind the transactional side of the relationship when ever anyone suggests it is more romantic. It didn't help Loona suggesting Stolas was getting bored of him. You do have a point, it was unfair of Stolas to just spring this on Blitzø like that. Especially given this started with Stolas twisting Blitzø's arm to agree to it when he didn't have the time to negotiate. He does need to give him time to process it.

Blitz not taking Stolas' confession of romantic feelings has almost nothing to do with Stolas himself, it has nearly everything to do with Blitz's personal trauma and his resulting emotional unavailability. Which is why even though Blitz's outburst was far too harsh, he wasnt wrong. Stolas is an aristocrat that has no idea the type and degree of trauma and discrimination Blitz has experienced. So why Stolas was very considerate in giving the crystal to Blitz, he wasn't actually considerate of Blitz's real emotional situation, and considering the connection he has it'd probably be pretty easy for Stolas to do some basic research about Blitz's past. Like when Stolas learned that Fizz hated Blitz he could have just asked around to find out more, or even just look up the Circus he knows Blitz was apart of, which would have immediately informed him about the Fire and would give him much needed context for Blitz emotional state. Stolas didn't ask any questions about why Blitz is the way he is or why he would have the response he did to Stolas' confession, he only cared about his own emotional needs. Which exactly what Via meant when she said in S2E2 to Luna: "Why does he hate her (Stella) more than he loves me?!", and we hear Via say something similar about Stolas loving Blitz more than he loves Via.

Instead of taking his confusion as a final answer that says there's no chance/basis, you say "I'm not roleplaying. I'm...serious." And then tell him (like I thought he would after Look My Way) to please think about it, and if you want to give it a try...I'll be here." The second opportunity would be if by pure coincidence Stolas hesitated for one more second before throwing out Blitz (...dismissing him?) because as soon as he noticed Stolas' reaction all the confused-anger driving the moment dissipated and he immediately went for an apology-- which likely wasn't heard (because it was cut off and fictional characters can't autofinish thoughts well, and because he would be too busy processing his shattering [realization] to really hear that "sorry" until later or never. The conversation in both these spots could've gone on for a good while and just 30-60s more would've had the episode end on a slight positive progression

To me I think deep down Stolas knew this would be how Blitzø would respond because of how bad he is at processing his emotions and how bad he is at letting people care about him. I think that it was almost his way of self sabotage, similar to how Blitzø is constantly self sabotaging himself. His first response was to protect himself by lashing out because it’s really his fight or flight response, hurt someone before they have the chance to hurt you. And I think he had also been convincing himself this entire time that Stolas was doing this because of his status and because imps are seen as lesser that it hadn’t even crossed his mind that it wasn’t the case. I think it was also easier for him to digest than believing that Stolas was in love with him, because then that would put both of them in the wrong. Blitzø had seen something coming, he just didn’t think Stolas would actually say anything, as referenced by his feelings of how complicated things were and how strained he was when he just repeated ‘we’re fine’. He just thought that what was coming was Stolas cutting him off completely, because Blitzø is so used to others doing that from his self sabotaging behaviors, which, in the end, is what ended up happening because he lashed out.

I really like the insight I saw someone else comment about on how really, at least at the start for this series every relationship Blitz has is, at least to an extent, transactional, and how that can relate to his traumas so he’d be in a place where he’s too scared to get attached to someone but still feels a need to have his own sort of family around him, so being in these areas of employment and deals and everything allows him to have that closeness while still feeling secure that they have a reason for the connection outside of just himself. So while Stolas is feeling it as keeping him prisoner, to him it’s essentially the groundwork he put in place for these close relationships. I hope we do see some more of Fizz since that is essentially the first relationship he’s had that wasn’t built on transactions, and connects much stronger to his whole childhood and everything that happened and I hope we can see some growth there, as well as obviously with Stolas too. I love this glorious trainwreck

Like every episode so far, This one was definitely worth the wait! It was nice to see the Cherubs return after all this time, And to see them team up with those two Dhork agents was very interesting! And I loved the badass fight scene between the Cherubs and the IMP employees! As for Blitz and Stolas's interaction in this episode, All I'll say is that is went about as well as we all expected. Though I will say that with a cliffhanger of an ending like that the episode should've a few minutes longer since now there's gonna be so much to resolve throughout the rest of the season.

Finally someone else that saw that it looked like a pokedex lmao Also this was so emotional for both parties involved (stolas and blitz) because i understand both their sides, and a crazy fight scene with the cherubi's and i.m.p. love the reaction this is already a fav episode. Also love that blitz and fizz are back to being close that fist bump was so adorable.

Man you got to praise Brandon and Bryce's voice acting in the end. And I like that you're explaining that while they both have different perspectives, they're also in the wrong too Blitz believes he is just some cheap dollar store toy, embraced to have someone play him and force himself to avoid being disposable like he always feel While Stolas believed that Blitz doesn't care about Stolas as long as he has the book/do the deed, from the screenshot in the Circus episode to the text message in the Western episode, and all Blitz said at the end is enough proof of that

I want to feel more bad for Stolas, but he really cannot blame Blitzø for being unable to process his confession. Part of that absolutely IS Blitzø’s difficulty with processing feeings generally, but I want the show to acknowledge that Stolas holds some of the blame for Blitzø’s response by simultaneously wanting a genuine connection while maintaining the “Sugar Daddy” front for so long.
@najpotenicewolf9345 ай бұрын
I guess it's also the fact, that Stolas didn't give him time to actually process the situation after he confessed. Such kind of pressure can result in different emotional responses depending on the person (especially if they didn't suspect the other person may have feelings for them), their life experiences and traumas. In Blitz's case, it's confusion and rage. Contrary to what most mainstream media shows, love isn't that simple of a feeiing, especially for those with emotional scars.
@toritori22995 ай бұрын
But then again, keep in mind that Stolas only did that cause he thought that is what Blitz wanted, because that's the impression Blitz gave him when he came in to steal from him.
@thebakersruview1315 ай бұрын
I can see it from both sides i think there's still a huge lack of communication they we're both quick to cut eachother off mid sentence and not give eachother the chance to properly think and answer. Stolas is a lot more intune with his emotions than blitz is. But thats not to say that blitz is void of emotion he just regulates through it at a different pace than most other demons/hellborn.

We all know blitz won’t think about it… he’s gonna get drunk and make wrong decisions, both have depression, and they are immature, so the best for both is to stay away… 💔 none of them is wrong… and I cryyyy rivers we the voice of the actor breaks when he said I didn’t know you think so low of me, damn a stab hurt less
@neyaneazrune5485 ай бұрын
I feel like it's a good thing the last scene is quick, because it passed quickly for the characters too, as we saw for Blitz who didn't have time to truly compose himself (not that it would have changed much, the whole problem on his part being the self-hatred that prevented him from seeing all the previous signs that Stolas loved him, that even Fizz had picked up) to Stolas who said everything he needed to get an answer he took as rejection, and quickly shut down then got overwhelmed after.

He doesnt love himself from how he acts and how he portays himself visuallly like you see him didnt care about this crystal he was more worried about was he not doing it right i could do better etc and 2. For a long time it was a business transaction between them and blitz didn't think stolas would or could devolep feelings for him cause in ozzies when blitz droppped stolas he said stolas makes it clear its just about having a goood time so this is where the feelings for both of them flourish stolas fell in love with blitz cause he made him who he is today or at least feel more like the stolas we know and with blitz he found someone that clearly wants him maybe as a transaction but wants him

I like your analysis because this is a very gray and real way to show characters have good and bad sides, that both commit mistakes and both also have good qualities. They both have something to say, and we also get a lot of info through all chapters until now, and we see how similar they are. There's a lot of parallelism happening between them, they're both very bad at communicating too. Stolas speech here was amazing, proud of him for that, not really the overall delivery of the whole conversation though. Starting asking for the book was wrong, no heads up or preparation when Blitzø enters with a very different mood going on.
@elviiralehtonen16045 ай бұрын
Yeah, stolas didn't realize blitz wouldn't be able to react in a healthy way RIGHT AWAY which doesn't oc require stolas to stay in that unhealthiness, but kind dropping this on blitz and then saying immediately that okay, you don't care about me. He kind of put up a wall to avoid ending up hurt and interpreted Blitz's feelings and words without really letting him say more that could feel like even worse of an rejection. I am 100% sure that stolas will start dating:" I want someone to want....me" , blitz mindlessly fucking and self destructing, and after it really hits him emotionally, in the end: wanting to be better "I don't want to be like this forever".

With thier relationship, its complicated. I.. kinda hate how people get so angry with Blitz very quickly, without thinking of how his life and his feelings were at this moment. He believes that their relationship, is just about s€×. Which is fair, given how this relationship started. And Stolas hasn't quite explained his feelings before to him, so this is sorta out of the blue for Blitz. They also have a power dynamic. Stolas is way more powerful than Blitz and is of higher power. Which makes Blitz feel inferior towards him. Also to add in that Blitz hates himself and doesn't believe that anyone would love him truly. So when he sees that Stolas does, it confusing for him to process. For Stolas, its also hard. His line of, " I think so highly you, I didn't think you'd think so low of me." That hits because he didn’t expect Blitz to think of him as like "any other Goetia". He has tried to give some sort of attention towards him and wants him around him. It also could be heartbreaking of how Blitz reacted to his confession, he believes its a lie. Which hurts. Idk but yikes! 😅
@theredeft53195 ай бұрын
I am glad you are seeing it from Blitzo’s POV too because yeah while Blitzo’s reaction to taking his confession as some kind of RP was partly because Blitzo hates himself and doesn’t think anyone can really love him, THIS has been the nature of their relationship for the most part up to now. Stolas was very dismissive of Blitzo and once Blitzo realized he was serious perhaps he should have “go home and think about it, I’ll be here”, but Stolas is so sure of his feelings for Blitzo that he thinks that Blitzo should also know how he feels about him. Blitzo lives in denial about many things so obviously that is a false assumption. So Blitzo’s argument back is still legitimate, on course he obviously had the wrong idea on how Stolas valued him. Although Stolas’s reaction may have been a mood swing too because he ran out of his anti-depression medication earlier in the episode too. However Stolas’s last line basically says “you still don’t believe I was serious about wanting to be with you, you think I thought so lowly of you because you were an imp and that I didn’t mean it.” Although to be fair Stolas has been condescending to Blitzo about being an imp before so Blitzo is still valid in thinking that, although obviouslyStolas’s does care for him. has bee been Anyway wonder if Blitzo is gonna be a mix of angry and hurt and lashing out in the next episode until he see’s Stolas’s breakout song maybe he will finally realize he has feelings for Stolas and that Stolas really did as well and start to make amends?

22:19 "yeah" ? 23:07 big oof because it's also like... he was forced out of the manor but didn't intend to actually run away or storm out yet. Maybe not even underneath the confused anger-upset was a clear "you're not getting rid of me that easily." Even before that when he got the crystal it was like "are you giving me this to get rid of me, 'cause I can change your mind to let me stay!" which was interesting So it like...it's extra ouch bc the hurtful words surrounding it didn't leave for much processing in the moment. I wonder if Stolas' will notice if he goes back over the conversation later (like people do when emotions settle- that's normal right). I really hope he eventually processes the apology Blitz almost got out, but apart from Loona, fictional characters are concerningly bad at autofilling dialogue

In a way I can understand Blitzo He wants to make this relationship better because he fears that Stolas might leave him for what he does Stolas on the other hand, is trying to make this relationship work, but maybe now Stolas had the thought of “What if this relationship isn’t working?” I had a similar relationship with my ex. When she decided to pull a complete 180, I was questioning why the hell would she suddenly become toxic towards me, and I was questioning why she was like this. So, like Stolas, I went to someone to get some advice like how Stolas went to Asmodeus to get some advice. I was a mixture of both Blitzo and Stolas I was Blitzo because I didn’t understand and this was out of left field, but I was willing to do anything to make this relationship better I was Stolas in seeking for advice as to what’s truly going on. It’s been a full year and I’ve moved on from her since then.

I feel like, in terms of “spending too much time on the comedy/action plot, and not enough on the drama” on one hand, the show understands that not everyone is here for the drama, even if it is becoming more important over time, and two, I actually like how, from an audience point of view, this all seemed to go down, and go wrong, all at once, so fast, because I feel like that’s what the characters themselves were going through too, and it’s to help us experience this in the same way they do.

I was annoyed with Blitz in 1x7 for the same reason why I'm annoyed with Stolas in this episode. They finally start talking and then one of them shuts down communication. Stolas finally started to tell Blitz that he just wants to spend time together, but he did it right after showing Blitz that he's embarrassed to be seen with him in public, so Blitz cut him off. This time Blitz finally does start talking about his feelings, but they're not what Stolas wants to hear (seems like he was hoping for a romance fantasy where the grand gesture of the crystal meant they don't have have to talk through their shit), so he cuts Blitz off.
@RaptieFeathers5 ай бұрын
Yes! A romantic fantasy, that's the perfect way of putting it. Stolas has been romanticizing this whole time in a very unhealthy way-he thinks and acts in big, grandiose ways, and gets caught up without thinking of others. Compare him to Ozzie and Bee-both who are very ostentatious and larger than life in public, but are much more grounded in their personal lives. Poor Stolas.

I don't think Stolas's confession came out of nowhere. Since Ozzie's, Stolas has tried to reach out (he thought that was a date while Blitzo only used him to go in). It's seen in their messages, he's always nice to Blitzo. He almost got killed and Blitzo didn't even visit him or asked (we see his arm is still bandaged)? And now, Stolas reached out Twice, Blitzo wouldn't listen. And, really? As bad as we can feel for Blitzo and his past, what has he been through because of Stolas? "Forced" s*x? What has Stolas given up for Blitzo? His wife (needed though), hid daughter's trust, his reputation, put his life at risk because Stella is that vindictive...so...NO. Blitzo had no right. To be fair, if Stolas was as Blitzo described, he could have done more than kick him out...
@twigthetroll92795 ай бұрын
With the mindset Blitz has, with the level of insecurity and self-hatred he has, it honestly fully makes sense that he wouldn't believe Stolas was being genuine any of the times he tried to show care. As clear as Stolas has been from an outside perspective, Blitz's perspective has gotta take a lot more to break through. Which of course doesn't mean that his response to Stolas in this episode was a GOOD response at all in any way, but I wouldn't say he "had no right."
@SnowyWolborg5 ай бұрын
Going by what Blitzo told Fizz when they were tied up together, Stolas has been attempting to communicate his feelings and interact with Blitzo on a personal level for months at this point, but because of his inferiority complex, Blitzo continuously denies that it is anything more than sex. Stolas realized a long time ago that "favors for favors" was not working and has been putting in effort to give Blitzo more agency. As sympathetic as Blitzo's history with self loathing and ruining his own relationships may be, he is not ready to walk through the door that leads to a relationship that requires him to be vulnerable.

I completely agree with your views on they are both valid in their feelings. In fairness of Blitz, Stolas did make up this agreement of intimacy for the book. He called Blitz his “impish plaything”. Stolas called him an “itty bitty Imp” in a condescending way in that episode of the Harvest Moon festival. When they had that date, Blitz said it’s very clear (to him) that Stolas only wants one thing from him and nothing more. Stolas should have talked more and also given him time to process. But I completely understand the way Blitz was reacting and what he said was hurtful and hearing that from someone you love and don’t feel is reciprocated is tough. It’s hard to fight through that fight or flight mode for the both of them.

I feel like Blitzø's own self-loathing is what prevents him from a having a meaningful relationship with Stolas. Between the way that his father treated him, blaming himself for the way he lost his mom, and his sister wanting nothing to do with him, I think he feels like he's not even worth loving. Even if Fizz forgave him for what happened, and even if he earned the forgiveness of everyone he's ever hurt (excluding the people he was paid to kill), the one person that won't be able to forgive is himself. I'm still wondering how his relationship with Verosika ended, but i have a theory that Blitzø imploded the relationship when things got serious. He pretty much did everything he could to show her that he was not worth loving or sticking around for, just so she would break it off and leave him. But we'll just have to wait and find out.

I disagree, I am not saying that Blitzø is the bad guy here, but he is making a mistake. We have seen Stolas try to change the nature of the relationship in person and through texts. In this very episode, we see Blitzø actively void thinking about it, so it is not as if he has had no time to even consider it; he just didn't want to. And finally, his first reaction is not to ask for time or to try to talk it out or ask if it is for real; it is to pretend ot os a game becouce, he either can not fathom it os true or doesn't want to think ot os true. I want him to he happy, but he has to confront his failings, he can't pretend is someone else's fault, and neither should we.
