I really liked Harahara in one of your purple swatch collections and was considering adding it to my wishlist, but then I saw it next to Waka-uguisu (which I have) and thought that it's very similar to Robert Oster's Sydney Lavender, which is possibly my favourite purple that I have. Does not abate my desire for Kin-mokusei and I might be eyeing up some of the other colours too now, especially in the darker shades.

Wow! Thanks so much for this. Must have been a lot of work. Saw a few I'm going to investigate further. I have doyou and when I swatch it, it's a (very) dark brown. With even a remotely wet pen it's almost black.

It is very hard to choose only a few haha. My favorite places to get ink samples are vanness1938.com and www.penchalet.com but www.gouletpens.com and www.truphaeinc.com are others I buy from as well :)
