The bull king was one of the few who could give wukong a run for his money. Like wukong he knew a spell where he could house his soul In something as small as his hair. As long as the bull king has hair. With this technique used properly. He can use it to hide his soul. Similar to a demon from demon slayer shifting it's heart. The 72 earthly transformations allows you re grow limbs as it seems

The Beef Steak here is unkillable, so the Celestial Court need to subdue him same as WuKong. Wukong was subdue physically by a shackle on his head. Beef Steak here is subdued by given him a family and shackling him emotionally. The relic he got, the two headed pig, perfectly represents him. He is being pull apart by choosing sides, but whatever he chooses is always going to be wrong. Which is why Wukong said “them being alive is the transgression itself”. He never really had a choice. In the end (during this story), you can see how defeated he is and didn’t dare to go against the Celestial Court for the sake of his family. Little did he know, he was supposed to be the “hardship” that our Destined One suppose to face. Since he didn’t consume the relics, the court basically manipulated his kid to do it. Which is exactly why his wife came back and said “No One is willing to help”. The court can’t just have Beef Steak hand over the relic to our Monkey, the Monkey need to earn it through hardship. The best choice he could had done in this game was consume the relic and be the boss for our Monkey. He can’t die anyway, perhaps his son won’t have to die from this. That said if he does that, the court will also have an excuse to punish him more. He is destined to be fucked in the ass until he dies, because him being alive is the transgression to the court. Additionally: keep in mind, Beef Steak himself can hold off Wukong + Bajie. He + his wife can EASILY subdue their Son. They kinda know the will of the court, which is why his wife went around and asking for help and let his son throw a temper tantrum. They hoped that beating their stupid son up is enough for the Monkey to get enough Merit. The court end up doing 2 bird 1 stone the situation. The hidden intent is that killing their Son took away the only evidence of elimination of the Rakshasi clan/race (listen carefully on the conversation during the birth of Red Head in the hidden mission). The surface level intent is for Monkey to get enough Merit for his Journey to become the new Victoria Buddha.

not stronger. Bull King, Wukong and Erlang are at the same power level that's why they can't really beat each other in a fair 1:1 fight. In the case of Bull King, him and Wukong are much more powerful than Bajie so Bajie couldn't necessarily help Wukong in subduing him.

I haven’t played the game and I’m not knowledgeable on Chinese culture or mythology. Did the Monkey King, Wukong, betray the bull? If not then who? If he did, then why? Was it for the power of the fan? He and his boar friend killed the bulls concubine and were trying to take his wife’s fan. Why are they friends after that? I’m clueless but I’m hyper curious. Bull seems like a good bro to have.

i think u are confused about the animation. what wukong did in the animation was just in his mind, basically from his perspective it appears as if wukong betrayed him and took his son away. his sorrow for the lost of his son and shackle from heaven made him find someone to blame. but it wasnt the case, that why at the very end, instead of him lay dying, it was wukong. he basically realized he was wrong, that why he never try to use wukong relic and was just holding onto it.

In the end Wukong's immortality was just too powerful. To the point that no one could kill him... save for himself. After witnessing the tragedies and failures in ones long life, his many missteps and mistakes, knowing not even absolute victory could atone for his past, the only choice left was simply to let it all end and hope that that would be enough to bring a final peace for everyone involved.

He was weakened by his head band and killed himself not for the reason you said but so he could be reborn without it quite simple stop making this stuff up wu kong isn't dying for final peace.

@@udhaybegyall Yep. I even beat the secret boss who LITERALLY SAYS after the fight nothing and nobody could kill Wukong except himself. The character we play isn't Wukong revived but his reincarnation given Wukong's memories, ready to break Wukong's chains and make his own journey in the sequel if a sequel is in the cards.

@@johnsantos507 wow didn't know he's that famous, bad news is that game science is not gonna make Nezha in the next two Black myths.that may be Jiang Ziya and Yang Jian(Erlang). I guess the Yang Jian one is related to another myth-Lotus Lantern. The town boy Chen Xiang and his father Liu Yanchang，Chen Xiang have always lived in peace, until one day, Chen Xiang accidentally discovered that he actually contained "magic power" in his body, and he could walk through the wall with no effort. When his father learned about it, he told Chen Xiang the fact that it had been hidden for many years, that is, Chen Xiang's mother was actually the Three Goddess in the sky. Because she broke the rules of heaven and married herself as a mortal, she was captured by heaven and disappeared. Knowing the truth, Chenxiang was so shocked that he decided to overcome all difficulties to save his mother. Erlang God (Yang Jian), who sees everything in his eyes, that is, Chen Xiang's uncle, decides to stop Chen Xiang's trip to save her mother.the reason why I think it has something to do with this story is, in China's mythology, there were two times to save the mother by chopping the mountains as u saw in the beginning of bmw Erlang uses the axe, but Yang Jian failed to save his mother and his nephew Chen Xiang then succeeded.

So does wukong die in this anime video in the bulls arms or the beginning of the game? I’m kinda confused

It’s pretty confusing but Wukong dies in the Bulls Arms in the beginning of the game. We just have to assume more fighting went on after Wukong was slammed into the mountain by Erlang Shen. So yeah we don’t see the Bull King or the other bosses but they did fight in the start of the game.

In the bull kings arms which is at the beginning of the game. A lot of fighting happened after erlang slammed wukong into the mountain. The 5 yaoguai kings from each chapter also showed up which resulted in them jumping wukong, however none of this was shown in the beginning of game. Probably to avoid spoilers of all the chapters final bosses

@@robertdawood279to add more details as you know wukong didn’t die in the Erland ground slam, and may even beat Erland and he retreated back to the heaven. There must be a reason if Wukong wanted to fight in his mountains (Wukong got his own monkey army, some ate the heavenly peach and also gained some strength). This leads to possibly another war after the beginning scene where Erlang had to rally all yaoguai in the mortal world and all gods in the heaven to finish Wukong once for all.

@@주하진-n2n Nope, the "divide the body into six piece" was part of WuKong's plan. During that war WuKong didn't all his effort & full power to win, he was planned to end his life there so he could reincarnate to break free of that headband, this is also a show that make the celestial court and buddha thought he is really gone.

That "laser beam" at the end was just to representing the celestial court power overwhelm all YaoGuai and finally got controlled everything including Bull King.

@@fredybudiman1257ah so basically the bull was punished by the court into having to be a trial for Tripataka when journeying to the west. unfortunately he was destined to be defeated by wukong. It seems him not consuming the relic was his way of trying to defy destiny and not get in the way of the the destined one
