Always loved the Androids and felt like they were such a missed opportunity. Their Endless energy is just such a major factor that not seeing them used at all feels like a waste. Not to mention, 17 and 18 are the ONLY true duo fighters that can work together perfectly without words no matter what. And seeing them fighting together in the Tournament of Power was amazing. I'd love to see more moments like that animated.

16 was modeled after Gebo, Dr. Gero's son. Gebo was a high-ranking soldier in the Red Ribbon army, but he was killed a long time ago by an enemy bullet. Gero built a mechanical replica of his dead son, but out of fear he would be destroyed in battle, he made him peaceful and nonaggressive. The problem is, Gero made him _too_ peaceful. That is the "flaw" in his programming Gero talked about.

17 got a power up for the tournament that made no sense. Im not sure how he went from being over whelmed be super sayain 2 and a few years later cant go toe to toe with super sayain blue. Go look at power scaling to wrap your brain around how hard of a jump that is.

The likely thing is they are androids they don't get tired, 17 after being absorbed prob didn't want to feel powerless ever again a decided to train for a lingntime, and park ranger on the side. That's just a fan theory but as tori said yes androids can train

Tecnically 17 dies on north Kai planet when Cell exploded. So when he come back to life thanks to the dragonballs, he should be still on North kai's planet...! So, how the hell he came back to the Earth?
