Today we are look at the Hierarchy of the Otherworld Gods in the Dragon Ball Universe! These will include the likes of Kami and Dende, to King Kai, to the Supreme Kai, to Beerus and then Zeno, and of course all of the bits in between too! I hope you enjoy!

It might even be that zeno is like the ultimate God of destruction for the multiverse and Zalama, creator of the super dragon balls is his counterpart. Because as we see, dragon balls can only grant wishes within power of their creator and because super dragon balls can grant any wish it would mean Zalama has infinite power. Zeno also has an angel similar to GoDs. Zalama is alive somewhere because if the creator of dragon balls die, so does the dragon balls. We also never saw Zeno create anything from nothing, he only destroys.

Thats.. actually a fair point. If Zeno is akin to a higher tier GoD, it would make a lot of sense, thinking about it. Like how there are different tiers of Kais/ creation gods, there may also be different tiers of GoDs, meaning that there may be an equivalent creation god to Zeno, only they’re the absolute peak of both tiers. Its an interesting concept, to be sure.

@@NoOne-sy5fg Eh, I don't think GP is a supreme being cause it wouldn't make sens for one supreme being to work for another supreme being (and also having two supreme beings goes against the whole concept of supreme being). Personally I don't think either GP or Zeno are supreme beings because of above mentioned reasons. I had a theory of mine that Zalama was somehow split into various incomplete beings who are the Zeno's thus also explaining the reason why there are more than one Zeno.

I've always found it weird that The Grand Kai is above the entire universe, but then he has 4 superiors again. My head-canon was always that The Kais only oversaw the Galaxy, and the Kaioshins oversaw the entire universe. This obviously means there would have to be 4 Kais and a Grand Kai for every Galaxy.

I wonder wether the creator of the super dragon balls is a god even more powerful thn the omni king and the angels. in dragon ball lore the dragons that can be summoned from the dragon balls have power equal to their creators. Considering that in dragon ball super it is said that the dragon from the super dragon balls (that one who is bigger than galaxies that shows up at the end of the tournament of power) can grant literally any wish, so i assume he had unlimited power, so....maybe whoever created the super dragon balls has unlimited power, and is the one true God from dragon ball universe, even above the omni king.

It's weird to me that we got Angels, and we got Devils like Dabura It feels to me, like on a whim, Zeno as a child can decide whom he wants to listen to, an Angel or a Devil. If he chooses Devil, all Devils would gain a power boost and all Gods of Destruction would get accompanied by Devils. This would mark a change of all the universes to chaos. This is why The Grand Priest tries to make his angels remain as neutral as possible. For if Zeno decides he doesn't like the way the Angels shape the universe, he can swap out to the alternate.

I kind of think that there's a version of King Yama for every planet. Since if he was the overseer of the entire universe then I doubt he'd be so overwhelmed by the fact of Earth being wiped out by boo because literally there should be more people than that dying every single day of natural causes. as well as the fact that they had to wish krillin to Earth's check-in station so he wouldn't be wished back to life on Namek which to me would imply that there was a check-in station for namak

I remember when the Grand Kai was the highest being in the universe. But they just kept introducing more and more gods that I don’t even feel their importance anymore. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was someone way way stronger than Zeno who Zeno fears. In fact, I can already imagine the plot. Some higher god comes down to scold Zeno for being too rash with his destroying of universes, and for letting his childish personality cloud his judgement.

The thing is, while there is always a bigger fish, somehow the smaller fish has some feats that the bigger one doesn't. The Angels are fast, but the Kaioshin can go instantly to the Omniking through their kai kai ability. Kaioshins apparently are not able of high distance mass telepathy so they had to use the services of the North Kaio who is lower in rank than them. This can get even further down with exceptional cases where the planetary gods are namekian, they are able to make Dragon Balls which can even surpass what kaioshins do to a certain degree. For example North Kaio needed them to bring him back to life, and the Kaioshin needed them to separate from his attendant.

technically trunks, and cell from the other timeline. Travel back-and-forth creating different timelines, but it seems that gods don’t notice the other timelines. Because of the whole traveling back-and-forth through time , creates alternate Timelines like Xenoverse Dragon Ball Z games, which is in an alternate future where trunks is a time patrol trooper who is fix time. There’s also the GT universe, and alternate universes. it seems all the gods don’t notice alternate timelines , they only know about the current timeline switch I think 12 of them or more. Don’t really remember. There used to be 18 universes and some of them were destroyed by Xeno the Omni king, but it seems they don’t notice the alternate Timelines, also I don’t think they know about the other universes beyond the 18 universes that used to exist? It seems that Gods only know about the universes they were told about, but they’re not aware of other universes. Meaning they can’t see every universe they only know about the 12 main universes my theory is their universes separated, from the other ones to prevent lord Xeno from destroying, the other universes beyond the main 18 universes by a God above Xeno.

On the original DB, and DBZ, it was stated that the eternal dragon can’t grant a wish that is above his power, pretty much, from his creator, so, in DB Super, they wish all the universes back with the super dragon balls, 🤔 does that mean it’s a Namakian out there, just as strong as some of the Gods, that they’re not mentioning

Its the reverse. The Super dragon balls or wish balls in the manga were the original of which the namakians copied to create the dragon balls we know.

You can argue that Korin was the first god introduced - or even Shenron. Shenron is literally given the title of God of the Dragons or Dragon God in the manga, though it's mentioned only once that I can recall. As for Korin, he has the title of God of Martial Arts. And while he's never shown to fight, his title is deservingly so, considering that he trained both Roshi and Goku, and Goku did go to him in order to get his opinion on Cell's power. He's also seemingly worshipped by the natives near the tower - and he has a link to Kami.

As I watch more and more clips of dragon Ball heroes and watch all of the super Saiyan 4s and Jirens and Golden Frieza and super Saiyan God super Saiyan 4 fusions and whatever else they can throw into the mix, The sense of power that these characters are supposed to possess means less and less to me as the show goes on. All throughout DBZ power ups and transformations were shown with a clear increase and widening the gap between each of them. But now when you watch super sayin 4 god tier Broly power up... It has no hmph behind it. No sense of scale.

I kinda forgot that there isnt just one Kaioshin. So how is it determined which one is tied to the God of Destruction? Is it just the Grand Kaioshin that is tied to him and if something happens (in the case of Buu) where that Kai is not killed but is still out of commission, one of the others is tied to the Destroyer? It seems odd that there are potentially 5 candidates to be tied to Beerus and two of them can die and two can be absorbed into an evil being and the random one remaining is the one that keeps Beerus alive.

Question... Why was Shin the set with Beerus when they were other supreme kais who were killed by kid buu, not to mention elder supreme kai. So... by the time Beerus sealed him, ate we to assume that 5 fruits hatched, meaning the birth of them... If Kid buu had killed Shin as he did to the other supreme kais, Beerus would've died too.. Why there can be different supreme kais from one Universe but oy one God of Destruction... Zamasu was not yet officially supreme until he killed Goazu...?

My theory is that Beerus was originally linked to the Grand Supreme Kai, but when he was absorbed by Buu and the other Kais were killed, Shin became the link to Beerus by default since he was the last living Supreme Kai.

king enma is only looking over the souls of earth, not universe 7, they out right say freeza hated earth hell, as long as you die off earth you wont see king enma who is the earth guy. i assume other planet bodies have their own version of after life and their own respective king kai as we see there are many king kai lvl kais who help train the dead.

There are always other forces than God's in every mythos. Usually Death itself is the physical manifestation of a being who exists beyond all conceptual limits, as they are the final arbiters in EVERYTHING. So technically speaking Death is usually the most powerful force in every universe as they cannot be defeated or stopped or anything, everything dies according to their will and as such anything that results in someone surviving or dying is at their discretion. Another force outside of the typical deities is Chaos. Usually represented by a monster or outrageously powerful being that even the highest of God's cannot truly stop. There is also the manifestation of Life itself, Gaia or whatever you'd prefer to call her and she/it also tends to be above deities. The kais seem to fulfill part of her role in the DB universe, but something has to create everything, which implies that either she or Chaos created the OmniKing. So I'm guessing that if there are ever new more powerful "threats" introduced who are above even the angels they will be in the form of those 3 beings. Death at the very top, followed closely by Gaia, and Chaos, Zeno, and the Grand Priest.
