It's got a big metropolitan area, rich and diverse history, scenic architecture, a very specific culture, historical significance throught American History, varied and interesting fauna and flora, and room for all kinds of fallout twists on the evils of prewar industry. I know it will likely never happen, so I already started writing my own little story to keep me interested in it.

Randy doesn’t necessarily need to have been in cahoots with the raiders... it could be that the raider just killed him, turned it off, was overpowered by the mirelurks (or maybe wounded by Randy in the struggle), and his buddies later looted the place. Raiders aren’t usually the type to be too interested in new territory that isn’t sitting adjacent to popular crossroads... I can’t see them wanting to take over an island for farming, and if they did they’d just enslave the population rather than kill them.

I downloaded the workshop synth production mod and created a race of my own characters, creating a society fully run by synthetic replicas of myself. this new race of settlers started off in the confines of spectacle island, but soon enough, once my numbers had reached levels i couldn't manage, i started to spread out to the rest of the commonwealth. I began slowly infiltrating my very own settlements with this new race of synthetic replicas of myself, slowly, slowly, one by one i would pick off the settlers i had cared for all those hours during my progression in the game, replacing them with my own creations. before long every last settler was lying dead somewhere out the back of where they had once lived, and my work was done.

Spectacle Island is my biggest settlement. I made it a gigantic Minuteman base with roughly 60 settlers, most of which are Minutemen, a sprawling power armor and vehicle hangar, barracks, training grounds, stockpiles of food and water, armories, a dock, and sixteen howitzers. With the mods I run, that artillery base can cover the entirety of Boston on it's own, but I still have smaller four-gun batteries at every settlement, and eight guns at the castle. A sign over the base command center reads "Fort Hammerfall" for it's massive artillery and armor presence.

On my first playthrough I randomly stumbled across a partial set of the X-01 power armor the companion is wearing in this video (the only set I've ever found). I use spectacle island as my water purification plant. I am the Water Baron of the Commonwealth, where I provide water to all. I leave Diamond City out of my jurisdiction out of respect for young Chen, water businessman to water businessman. Perhaps when he is older I’ll take him under my wing. How I discovered the Island Clearing out Mirelurks nearby so they won't be a problem to my Warwick Homestead Settlement I saw a shack in the water I swam there I saw a boat I swam there then noticed land I arrived where Randy was I looted the island killed a few mirelurks activated the generator killed a few more mirelurks activated that siren took a few screenshots and videos and then I used the workshop and finally threw the bodies into the sea after looting them as funeral (I do the same with Minutemen bodies after the castle attack) I then leave the island and don't plan on using it until I get the Wasteland Workshop dlc to make it into an arena

I know I'm 3 years late on this, but I have a theory. I like the direction you're going in with Randy being allied with Raiders and having alterior motives for the island. They probably used the Fat Man found on the tugboat to fire the mini-nuke found inside the main farm house you first looked through. When it didn't detonate and deal as much damage as intended, Randy and the Raider probably mobilized to do the job themselves; and that's when the Mirelurks attacked and killed them shortly after they left the tugboat.

Firstly i want to tell you how awesome you are going through all the lore of fallout and your dedication to do so, your attention to detail is amazing. I find your uploads very enjoyable to watch, only honest reveiws, facts and figures; just the way true fans of the series like it :). As someone else noted there were beach chairs and parasols so maybe some of the remains were from a pre war beach front etc. I used SI as a main base, loads of room to build whatever i wanted, but if only it was flatter lol.

Randy doesn’t necessarily need to have been in cahoots with the raiders... it could be that the raider just killed him, turned it off, was overpowered by the mirelurks (or maybe wounded by Randy in the struggle), and his buddies later looted the place. Raiders aren’t usually the type to be too interested in territory and seem to like sitting adjacent to popular crossroads... I can’t see them wanting to take over an island for farming, and if they did they’d just enslave the population rather than kill them.
