The Fun Ship! The Duke of Lancaster ship dry docked on the north Wales coast

My Dad was one of the Radio Officers on the Duke of Lancaster! He worked from Heysham & occasionally Fishguard to Rosslaire.

Thank you for making and posting this video. I have often seen the ship on my way up to Clannor. I knew nothing about it and the last tim, it was still covered in graffiti!

The Duke of Lancaster. I went to see it in 2010. The hull wasn't in great shape then, so I don't expect it has improved over the past 14 years. My Dad sailed on it back in the day.

We went to the Fun Ship when I was a kid in the early 80s and I'm 100% sure Keith Chegwin & Maggie Philbin drove right past us in a sports car in the car park. I remember thinking he was in a mood at the time because he was driving really fast seeing as he was in a car park
