Well I do post at least something every week. Sometimes twice a week. A video like this though took a lot longer to write, glad you liked it!

Honestly its so hard to learn anything from other artists because they talk and talk and talk and talk and these words have no meaning. Just tell me how to do it. This is why I prefer books. They just get to the point

I'd suggest not trying to look for videos then. If books work for you then use books...but FYI artists are passionate and obsessive with their craft. If that bothers you then, the problem might be with you and not with the artists. Sorry if that seems blunt, but this is one of my more "condensed" lessons and I'm really proud of this video.

@@cinderblockstudios fyi, i am an artist and am passionate and obsessive about my craft. however passion and obsession isn't an excuse for being longwinded. its only recently that i've grown so tired of watching other artists drone on. for years i've had only the best teachers. their videos were concise, helpful, serious, organized. but since i started trying to learn landscapes recently i've run into some bad experiences. i joined schoolism and was almost killed by hours of listening to nathan fowkes drone on, tell anecdotes, and talk about his childhood. i was screaming 'GET TO THE POINT' into the night last night. i feel like i still need a lot of guidance for the landscapes that i want to construct, but its fine, because i just remembered that daarken has a tutorial on this. daarken is so trustworthy. he tells you everything you need to know fast so you can get on with your life

@@jaejinsol4483 a good artist should never be bored with anecdotes IMO. I'm not sure what you were looking for, and I'm sorry my video didn't provide it...but my original thought still stands. If you don't like what I do just move on. No need to bring another passionate artist down because you didn't find the info or my presentation style useful. I would however suggest if you think you can do better, then do it. I make videos because I love creating and love talking about the work I make. I hope that maybe some others can be inspired by my work, style, and lessons as a result. If that's not you, then good day to you. But don't go out of your way to try and bring me down just because you think I'm long winded.
