This is not the right context. JJ Racaza optimizes stance for competition. CCWSafe is not preparing its members for competition. In a fight, there is no way to predict what your stance will be.

It all starts with fundamentals. Once you understand fundamentals you can go play jazz.

@@GunsForEveryoneIsaac What would be the right context? Throwing someone who has little experience shooting or handling firearms right into a "self-defense situation"? No, you want to start with the basics, grip, stance, structure, trigger press, how to aim and find your sights, etc... You start with the fundamentals, and then you can go from there. If you are unable to do the very basics you will not be able to do the advanced stuff safely.
