How were/are they?
@kchappelle3 жыл бұрын
@@a0zuniverse okay, these skates are everything as advertised. But to make them even more fun, I put 76mm on the front and back and left the 80mm in the middle. I love a fast turning skate. They are probably my most comfortable skate that you could wear for an all day city skate. They are just like wearing slippers, but with a lot of support. But to be honest I love the Aeon 60 Lomax skate even more. The skinny boy liner is awesome. I love the little wheels. Get you so low to the ground it’s insane. If you’re into or want to get into aggressive skating you can’t beat the 60. The H block is much bigger for grinding and that makes it easier for beginners. You don’t notice the skate being slower because of the little wheels. It’s my go to skate now. But these Aeon skates are flat when you get them and the new wheels are sticky. So same thing on the Lomax skate I put 60mm front and back and left the 61mm in the middle. Now I can turn like an ice skate. Get the pro version instead of the standard. The upgraded liner is so worth it. I’ll stick to learning grinds on the 60’s for now. I’ll try the 80’s at grinding when I get better at it. If you want a fast skate for street skating and the occasional grind or slide you can’t beat the 80. For aggressive skating in a park I’d get the 60’s. Hope this helps

Would you say intuition liner is more cushioning/comfortable than the skinny boys? Got mine with skinny boy liners and I find my feet are wrecked after half an hour and feel like as if I'm skating on plastic than anything cushioning and comfortable so wondering could it be just the liners not suitable for me. Used to skate in generic agressive inline skates back in the days and never had similar issue Ive also set of old XJado and no issue like this

I just bought these skates and about an hour in to skating I began to feel excruciating pain on both my inner ankles. I have since found some comments, buried amongst all the sparkling reviews, stating that they too have had this issue. I called loco skates today and the guy basically said ye they know about it and USD are in the process of modifying the mechanism in order to resolve the issue but there was nothing he could do as the skate was supplied in manufactured condition. I’ve had to resort to duct tape and half tightened screws just to be able to wear these skates. Let alone skate on them. The thing that angers me the most is how reputable reviewers (including loco) are not mentioning this issue even though they are aware of it. And as a result I have just thrown 250 pounds down the pan.

At 2:03 you spin the wheels and it instantly shows the one reason why I don't want this skate. Is the free spin horrible on every plastic frame? I have a Kizer Level 2 and it skates slow as hell compared to every aluminium freeride from I owned. I'm still waiting for a high quality UFS aluminium 4x80 frame with a small H-block like this Aeon 80, preferably with a 1mm rocker like the Element 90, and all one solid piece of CNC'ed aluminium.
