"There is no room for demons when you're self possessed" - Carrie Fisher Words to lived by.

My god this woman was soooooo intelligent and witty. The human race has lost such a shining example of its very best humans. Never mind anything else Carrie Fisher was such and incredible example of humanity at its best that when aliens come to visit we should demonstrate the species at its best by showing them Carrie Fisher. Princess of the human race.

I've seen a lot of Carrie Fisher's interview and I swear, I feel like she was ahead of her time when she was young, the way she talks to people, being herself you know, she was so different of other women in her time. I love her so much, and I miss her. I wish I had a woman like Carrie Fisher in my life haha. She is my kind of woman with all due respect. She had mental health issues, family issues, drug issues, and even with that, she stayed strong and had the time of her life, so much human character development over the years. I just wish she could be here today, talking to us about what she thinks of our generation and everything.

Jon Dunmore Yeah what is it with her voice changing?
@petera.michaelsen46577 жыл бұрын
she has a hard time breathing, she got fat and old, plus a life of abusing drugs, she lived her life and nobody should judge her, but the important thing for me is that she was reborn when she stopped using drugs, she wanted to enjoy her life and you see an authentic Carrie.

Peter A. Michaelsen Her S's sounded like Sh like some kind of lisp.

She also smoked though too which I think had a lot to do with her voice changing. So gaining weight, getting older, smoking, drugs, maybe getting her teeth changed/fixed, etc.....all resulted in a different sounding voice.

She’s so attractive. Thing is, it’s not even her appearance so much as it is her confidence.
@patmccrotch53735 жыл бұрын
Man, you said it perfectly, she is beautiful yeah, no question. But she's not the most physically attractive person in the world... HOWEVER!... like you said, there's just something about how she carries herself, and how she's able to be self-deprecating, while at the same time having a tremendous confidence about herself without coming off as egotistical or inauthentic. Rather, she seems to have a great sense of humor about personal shortcomings in her life, and she's VERY quick to come back with an insightful comment that is on a deeper level of either humor, or intelligence, or both, that most female celebrities don't have. And THAT, to me, is what made her so unbelievably attractive, and sexy, and it kinda makes me, as a male, have a crush on her unlike any other celebrity. I'm going to be honest and say that, while I'm certainly aware of who she was, and why she was famous, I never really fully understood the obsessing over her that friends of mine (who were mainly 'Star Wars' fans) did over her. I've seen small parts of 'Star Wars' here and there, but never consecutively, and never a whole movie in one sitting. (I'm not even sure how that even happened, but yeah... I'm not someone who fell in love with her simply because I had an obsession with 'Star Wars,' and she was in it.) But now I 100% understand why they obsessed over her. She's physically beautiful yes, but that's not why she's sexy, and alluring, and makes us all school boy crush over her. Haha wow... I'm debating on posting this because it seems a tad (just a tad) over the top, but it was literally an hour ago I was clueless to why she was SO attractive to so many people. It has now occurred to me, within minutes of watching her interviews, why she was so beloved by so many people. Genuine people like her are most certainly a rarity.

She had a lot of her mom in her. Funny, fighting self battles. She was pretty. Mixture of parents you can see but her humor was definitively like Debbies. When you are Manic Depressive (like me too) the funny has to constantly be there, otherwise, you sink. So many people don't have no idea what we go through. When I was working in my late 20s, I asked some of the other girls if they took Xanax, "Yep, every day" We have to stay calm from anxiety, panic trying to keep away from people that will have a negative on you. I have so much for example... I don't like being touched. I don't want anyone in my bubble (this is my space, that is your space) "you don't come into mine and I don't come into yours.

About the only thing I wouldn't want is an argument. I feel she would eat me alive. But that certainly didn't seem to be her nature. As she claimed shes the best friend one could ask for and her honesty leaves no doubt that she would be exactly that. The world would be better if more people......oops.
