Why did you have to pick the RAC! lol! In my teenage years, I used to thumb it quite a lot. I was with a friend and we were going to Blackpool. We got picked up by an RAC bloke who told us to call him 'Uncle Tony '. He took us as far as he could and when he dropped us off he asked us to just stay in the van for a moment. Well, I had already got out so I just crouched in the doorway, facing my mate and obviously I could see into the van AND what 'Uncle Tony ' was doing! I was so stunned, I couldn't move or say anything. When he was done (thinking back, it was pretty quick, to be honest), as if nothing had happened, he gave us a quid each and told us to be careful because there were some 'wrong'uns' out there. LMFAO!! Based on my experience back then, I have never bought cover or supported the RAC in any way whatsoever.
