Jim Carrey was one of my first celebrity crushes when I was a child, because of Ace Ventura and Stanley Ipkiss. When I saw him as Robotnik, it was like that crush never went away. Whenever I’m feeling down, his comedic work always cheers me up and makes me feel a lot better. It just goes to show that growing old is inevitable, but growing up is optional 😉

Sad he retired from us but cannot blame him. Physical comedy just as professional contact sports is very taxing. Consider also the amazing range of characters he played from slag stupid to dangerously brilliant stupid to crestfallen and heartbroken with perfection. Jim gave 1000% in everything he did wouldn't you say⁉️ His retirement to do as he sees fit well earned. His place is up for sale north of here. He is absolutely bowing out. One thing about "Liar Liar" though, while Fletcher wasn't able to lie he was still able to cover up the truth. Oh yeah the Cable Guy was pretty much panned by critics and fans alike... that time the Warner Bros. (and sister) tried to appeal to a villain to get out of trouble by mentioning Jim Carrey, and it looked it worked until it didn't: "must have seen the Cable Guy" ... and that song Hey Leonardo: "Make her laugh just like Jim Carrey (unlike the Cable Guy)". Yeah it was pretty common knowledge that it wasn't a favorite. My brother liked it, though. 14:56 - I guess after "the most annoying sound", Jim Carrey finally gets a taste of his own medicine!
