However, to be fair I also jump in whenever Charles is cooking to see Matt’s reaction. This one took the cake because I’m an Alonso fan 😞, so I, too, was rooting for a Ferrari win at Monza. Oscar really doesn't have much hope of beating his teammate before the end with gap he has to close there, let alone gulfing the gap to Max as well while McLaren let them bicker. It isn't mathematically impossible, but just closing the gap to Norris with how well Norris has been performing looks unlikely. To manage to also close the gap to Max at the same time basically impossible - the McLarens look likely to be on the podium every race with both cars, which means very little points swing between them, catching Max for Norris is only just about possible as it stands anyway as he is still a darn fast driver in a darn good car - he is going to be finishing 5th or better you'd expect most races even though the RB is no longer dominant.

Oscar seems to be a physical manifestation of Mark Webber’s broken #2 driver ego. Honestly as a Ferrari fan, with kind of a mediocre season, the wins in Australia, Monoco, and Italy have been just enough to keep me happy. We’re not in the title fight but winning the odd (important) races here and there has been amazing

There have been very famous historic precedents (Spa 2008, Jeddah 2021), so there's no two ways about this: If George actually takes the position back there, that's a slam dunk penalty. So Checo was rightfully annoyed he was forced onto a defensive line into the second chicane, which cost him time and tyre grip, just because George tucked his nose in where it didn't belong out of Curva Grande. This is not comparable to Albon's embarrassing radio call back in 2020.
