@Picolas Cage I think she is only 30 or so, I'm not sure that was what she was saying. I think she was just saying that her childhood affected her into her adulthood, any wounds she gained from her parents and didn't get a chance to heal from she just coped in negative ways. I think she has taken responsibility because she willingly put her self in therapy. She had to say to her self "I need help" before doing so. That's just my take.

This was my favorite episode yet! It almost felt like I was in therapy as well, listening to people who are very open and aware of feelings in general. Very open and understanding how people might feel. It helped me think internally about how I am feeling. With an 8 month pregnant wife, a young kid, and this quarantine, as a family we are down in the dumps sometimes. But allowing myself to feel my feelings helped just recognize that I was justified in feeling this way, but need to try to rectify the situation and help get my wife to the finish line while not neglecting my kid as he is going through the gambit with us. Thank you both!

I am already a fan of Dax, having listened to his and Monica's podcast for two years, so I enjoyed this interview. But, honestly, the best part of this presentation for me was the fact that the quarantine format meant that Whitney's image was on screen almost the whole time. And that is a good thing because I find Whitney to be so beautiful that I could look at her all day and never grow tired of her face.

Absolutely loved this episode!! I thoroughly enjoyed how open, aware and easy it was to establish engaging dialogue about their love languages, addictive qualities, the give and take between relationships with partners and with themselves. Made me think a lot about my current situation. How I should start focusing on ways to better suit my relationship with my partner and my own mental health and wiring. For sure want a sequel episode. Killed it like always Whitney (and Dax)!

I've realized too how important it is to recognize that your perception of your significant other's actions aren't always indicative of their feelings or intentions. And to be aware of the fact that their reaction to your actions isn't always indicative of who they are as a person, or how they feel about you overall. It can be so hard not to jump to conclusions, even when you're aware of the reality, but that's why communication is so essential.
