Thanks, man - and yeah, Holyoke is this closest we get to Boston this spring. We'll be back out in the fall, though! And yeah, fuck those fucking fuckers at YT. First saw that on our Kicksville videos (Kicksville is the original project that gave birth to the Bongos), so we added that PS to all those videos. Then to see that they don't even give the money they make off the ads on Frank's songs to the Zappa family trust....oy.....

@@TheFuriousBongos I'm not defending YT, but I'm pretty sure they inundate viewers with ads to irritate us enough to pay for the service which eliminates ads. I guess for people who want to cut cable, that's not a bad option. As you probably know, ZFT sold everything to do with Frank Zappa, right down to his "likeness", to UMG, so any revenues from ads or any kind of royalties would go to UMG. While we're on that topic, as a performing band playing Frank's music, do you have to get licensing permission to play his music from UMG? Just curious. Anyway, having just stumbled upon your band and music, I'll be entertained by it immensely. Thank you!! Arf arf! and Moo-Ahhhhhh

@@Royale_with_Cheeze Of course. I was using shorthand by just saying the family, but yeah, ZFT or UMG, either way, YT is pocketing the ad revenue. As for paying to perform the music, no, you don't need a license to perform a given song. It's covered under the blanket BMI/ASCAP fees any live music venue has to pay.

Our studio and rehearsal space is in Maryland, near Washington, DC. The band members are from all over the place: Chicago, Baltimore, LA, even Stockholm, Sweden.
