Big changes going on, congrats on the new tenant. I'm with ya, the secondary yard you own next door is difficult to use, I think you should take down a section of your wall and create a access path, once done it wont be as difficult to use and that extra space ya know your gonna need it. Could also put the chicken pen over there. You have enough grass around your farm to make plenty silage, I know corn is the big silage producer but for the cost due to lack of equipment I 'm thinking harvest it. Do you have a slurry tank or a manure wagon/spreader, you have a pile of manure across the street, need a 4 SALE sign Good Day :o)

Daggerwin move the hinging point on the back 2 gates to make it easier to move about. the one on road side hinge it next to the barn and hinge the field one into the field. Just a thought

You should put that maize into the silage pit with a contractor. Should charge about 30 per acre which is much cheaper than leasing a forager, even if it is a tractor mounted forager. Thing is you'll have to empty your own 20000 litres of grass silage out first

I think you should get a planter and a corn header for the claas so you can have more of a variety of crops to grow. I'm sure the online auction would have something that's alittle older but in good condition

There's a front weight bar for the 135. You can then clip on weights to the front. We use them for moving full bins of pears on banks and the like. Could be useful for the seeder on the back?

Daggerwin me old chap why dont you knock a hole in the wall from the main farm to the "show" field, you'd be able to pop though to the other farm buildings nice and easy and get the combine in and out of the yard much more easy.
