The International Fire Training Centre can have all sorts of scenarios but the one thing they can't simulate is the bushfires/wildfires. I know because I've experienced a major firestorm in 2003 and is a member of a Fire & Rescue unit here in Australia. Fire conditions with 40°C-45°C temps, low humidity, high fuel loads/vegetation, extreme winds, tremendous heat - these are just a few of things that the UK don't have. And also every country is different. Climate change is also making it more harder to fight wildfires - Just recently a former fire commissioner from Sydney made a report slamming politicians for their inaction into climate change.

Great episode as always, but disappointing to see you still had to reference Elon Musk trying cannabis as if he was some kind of a crazed, out of control drug fiend. The podcast that the picture was from was 2 hours long where they talked about a lot of ideas, at one point the host offered him a puff and Elon held it in his hand and took a minuscule puff without even inhaling. No one talks about how they discussed the future of out planet, technology and the human condition and how we should try to understand and love each other more. Shame on you for not being able to resist sensationalist clickbait.

To be fair I don't know what you expected from the BBC. I'm not a lover of the devils lettuce nor do I particularly like the smell but it's not anywhere near as bad or whatever other shit people like to make out about it. Personally I learnt a lot about the stuff and I can see the positives hemp and a good 90% of hemp is purely positives. Heroine, Coke, Crack and the like are a whole different subject. I think people who watch the BBC should take what they say, do & show with a pinch of salt because it seems to me in my opinion that the BBC is being run by a bunch of morons.

Respected sir, I was just meditating on jungle fire , The tree fire is very very long, I was thinking if we use bow and arrow to cut hot red tree, our position should be in very smart way. Burning tree should fall on ground and this is best way to stop spreading of fire by wind . Then we have to use less water, We need people or artificial intelligence to cut the burning object , so that fire shrink and object do not have more access to oxygen. Namh shivay.
@sunitadwarka3476 жыл бұрын
We must experiment with dust method, where ever we don't have access to water, machine must dig the earth and spread dust in atmosphere , So that we can have less oxygen in atmosphere. We must experiment different method. Namh shivay.
@sunitadwarka3476 жыл бұрын
I have watched your video carefully. I have suggestions can we used sand with water . First benifit will be sand have capacity to hold water. Second supposed fire is caught in 10 ×10 meter area, and if we mix 10 or 20%of sand with water.These sand can cover 10 or 20 % area of fire . This process can reduce intensity of fire. We must experiment this. Another choice is, we must mix clay with water and experiment. The main part is ,we must reduce Oxygen content of water to reduce intensity of fire. If sand and clay is difficult to obtain in some areas, can we use gutter water . The gutter water have less oxygen content.The water should be muddy with less oxygen content to block the fire. Namh shivay.
@sunitadwarka3476 жыл бұрын
Respected sir. I have watched your machine of jet with 1000 liter water. Can we break the wall and introduce fine clay dust inside the room to block the fire. We can make machine to dig earth and pump fine dust in burning room. create strome of dust to reduce intensity of fire. Please try. Namh shivay.
@sunitadwarka3476 жыл бұрын
sir, I was thinking of giant machine and its cost, My suggestion is if we take giant ballon we fill 1/4 with very fine clay and with air or fume , now with giant machine we introduce it close chamber of burning room, At end machine must have closing lid to block the hole of wall, so whats so ever hole is done by machine is closed, and room doesn't have access to oxygen, This will cost effective in case of house fire. From out side we either use water or we build giant fan , wind also have capacity to block fire, If air is in giant pressure , we can block the fire moving from one floor to another or one building to nearby bulding. Our holy guru Shankaracharya says , wind have capacity to block the fire as well as to increase the fire. We must think of giant fan to block the spreading of fire specially in building and fire on road or in train. We must use cost effective and different method to block the fire. So lets us try balloon method and giant fan method, Ballon we can hang on top or side of fire brigade and gaint fan can work on patrol. Namh shivay.

Water, foam, powder... Seems pretty 19th century to me as to how to put out a fire. I thought the video was about the future...What happened to this electric firefighting technology? What about using sound waves to supress oxygen? And using missiles to stop a forest fire? Where were those Dubai jetpack wearing firefighters? THAT is the FUTURE.
@ember_shep81816 жыл бұрын
No. That is fantasy. There is a major difference between plausible future and possible future. Sure That could come around in about 100 years time, but we are no where near as advanced as that. Missles to stop a forest fire? Fully automated systems? How much are you going to throw at computers to solve our problems. We work with computers, not below them. That is what this video shows.
