Tbh i considered them underrated and one of the most organic group right now. They literally debut at the bottom of every charts in korea. And other groups has been dragging them saying no one listens to sheesh coz koreans like y2k songs more that's why no matter how much they win in fan votings they can't get music show win but when Coachella and encore controversies appeared and babymonster variety shows live singing and music show performances became viral in korea their song stadted to climb on the top of the charts and until now it's consistently in the top 10. They did that not bec of yg or their song went viral on tiktok but bec of their skills and talents

A lot of Japanese fans is regretting that they didn't bought the ticket cause they thought its just normal fanmeet but YG gave a full concert experience and it was the same day of KCON Japan. 30k seats (15k tickets each day) sold out by a rookie gg that's impressive itself.

Watch the Making of Sheesh. The girls on live stage sound like they ate the CD because they are the CD. The mv vocal production process is a organic tuning process. The girls have to sing again and again in the production booth until the producer gets the vocal sound he wants for the mv. At the same time the girls are primed for live stage sounding exactly like their mv.

I seen that video you are talking about and I can tell you it was a huge exaggeration, I live in the U.S and I always watch the charts, Baby Monster is really popular here and they definitely have a great chance, as far as 5th gen boy groups ehhh honestly I don't hear much about 5th gen boys, Riize I guess but I don't see any of the 5th gen boy groups going to Coachella when groups like SKZ and TXT have a much larger U.S fanbase. just my 2 cents

But I must say, based on what I watched in these fancams, I was impressed with their confidence, ability to engage the fans, and how they handled the adversity they encountered, specifically, Rora falling during "like That" and losing her balance at the end of another song as she stooped down to one knee, and several vocal mistakes by a few members. these things happen in live shows and their training kicked in to overcome the mishaps.

Babymonster is great. They had a huge shoes to fill - given that their direct predecessor is Blackpink… but Babymonster is a monster indeed! Given that they are only 1yr old and they can pull fanmeet concert like… lack of wins -- naah… we dont mind… Blackpink didnt win much, especially in award shows but they’re number 1… i really am looking forward to Babymonster’s growth and songs… one thing i can say tho, Teddy produced songs are banger bangers! I like baemon songs too, looking forward to future arrangements from their music directors…

What do you mean underrated? Bfr, they're songs was even charted in Korea even they didn't actually promote it except for music shows but they manage to be in top 20. They also sold out albums, they sold 400,000 albums in hanteo, they're the first 5th gen gg to do that. They are also viral in sokor for singing live. They have serious amount of views in yt, i don't think this is the behavior for underrated group to be honest.
