Speaking about Pharita, some people who started follow Baemon since the begining of pre-debut era would have partially known Pharita's vocal talent. She has calm vocal tone and special resonance that easily piercing and pull emotion out through your soul. Anyway, since the Last Evaluation ep.6 the dominant vocal performance from Ahyeon and Rami unexpetedly conveyed audienes attraction toward them more than other members, and became the most mentioned topic. This was not bad because it benefit Babymonster in overall capability to be a unique famous group. But the true talent of each Babymonster members and their sisterhood bonds still be there. Other factor is the number of released songs that not enough yet which sometimes limit revealing of member talents. People who are just discovering and following Baemon affter debut would have got those limited vision on these. Since this 1st full album 'Drip' releasing, with various genre of songs, I think there are more opportunities for other remaining members to shine brighter soon as same as Pharita.

Pharita is not underrated. If you watched the Last Evaluation pre-debut episodes. She's ranked #1 by YG himself among all the members during an episode called "Blind Test". It's YG's own strategy to keep some members a low profile and promote a couple of them first. Now that Rami and Ahyeon have been promoted now it's gonna be Pharita and Rora.

Park Bom was the originator of unique vocal tones in YG. From then on YG started looking for unique tones like Lee Hi and Lee Suhyun followed by Rosé. At one point YG was obsessed with Lee Hi’s vocal tone that he signed Katie Kim another K-pop Star alum. She eventually left YG. Then for the boys there was WINNER’s Kang Seungyoon, iKon’s June and Jinhwan, and TREASURE’s Bang Yedam, Mashiho, and Junkyu. They are vocalist but if we add rappers, it’s a whole another list.

It's crazy cuz I think majority of them are great vocalist, it's just that the market have its favorite and YG stick to that leaving other member specially Pharita and Rora which have a very unique vocals in the group. I gotta disagree with you on this. Rosé’s timbre isn’t what started this kind of popularity. YG artists have always been known for their unique vocal tones, even way before BLACKPINK. Gummy was one of the first to show this, and for 2NE1, it was Park Bom. If you’ve heard Bom’s solo tracks, you’d know her timbre was considered one of the most unique and loved during 2NE1’s prime. She was even the first female K-pop group member to get a Perfect All-Kill (PAK)! Also, a lot of BLINKs were upset when YG seemed to tweak Rosé’s voice to make it sound more like Bom, Gummy, or Lee Hi. Her original tone was so different, and you can tell from her pre-debut audition clips. Personally, I became a Rosé fan because I fell in love with her unique, adjusted timbre. Oh, and by the way, Lonely isn’t 2NE1’s goodbye song. Their actual farewell track is called GOODBYE. 😅 You should check out 2NE1’s ballads, though-they’re super loved in Korea. All the members are great with ballads, even Dara, though she usually has fewer lines because of her soft voice.

As much as we have witnessed Ahyeon’s vocal range from the past releases and exposures, I would’ve loved to see Rora joining Pharita in this segment, dont get me wrong, I support all my girlies, however, Pharita’s soothing vocals and Rora’s soul vocals needed more exposure such as the covers they did during pre-debut and last evaluation.
