Honestly probably the best and most versatile tool and piece of machinery ever invented for glassblowers. I mean it's a hand lathe, how much better can it get? Love to see this genius making realistic and useful tools and equipment! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Funny. My first name is Dustin and my middle name is Michael. LOL. I am obsessed with getting the money together for an NQALHA ever since I first saw it a couple weeks ago. I think about it often everyday. Awesome to get a run down of Mikes shop and his tools. This man is so amazing.

He needs to add a heat shield to the area under the handle to protect from the bunsen burner flame. If he had a 18x18 piece a plate steel slightly angled towards him so that the flame wash would angle away from him, it would make a much safer process.

Idk how to feel about this on one hand it helps the longevity of the artist but on the other hand it's robotic and less intimate knowing it's not "hand made". The price also separates the haves from the have nots which is quite frustrating considering how expensive this medium we all love is..
