Well gaming as a industry is tough . I have seen a player who has potential to hit #1 but decided to not as he is pressed to pursue engineering by his parents . Having a place in GE gives him an option ,an opportunity and assurance . Tier 2 is already facing so much problems in regions such as Americas so it is not a easy place . GE reviving money from riot as a franchise team but tier 2 doesn't have that privilege .

What a wonderful podcast . we as audience just criticise the team when they lose , ignoring how much efforts it takes to reach there . thank you for giving us chance to cheer and criticise at the biggest stage. am sure soon india will have great players to match that stage. this video is must watch for anyone who wanted to see india grow in E sports . because you guys are the best to tell with your experience. i understand and supports your decisions of not having any indian player, as you wanted to make that eco system which builds the environment which makes player hungry for the biggest stage. i support your GE academy decision and wish you all the best . indian player is there or not , you guys making us proud . Thankyou GE #Fighting
@gggggggggghhhhoost2 күн бұрын
Aside the mindset issue of indian competitive players mentioned, I think there is also a growing issue with the community. When players lose the environment should have been forgiving and create a mindset of growth. I see this with Japanese orgs, they played really bad this season but I dont see that much fan saying hate or death threats to the players losing compared to GE.

Also can you guys have a good long talk on Mumbai server what's wrong with it, how and what the community can do for making it competitive and a positive place to grind? GES as an organization has done right things for themselves . I want to ask what they have done to promote valorant scene in India and nourish Indian talents ? They don't have a majority Indian roster. They don't have any academy teams for India?(which is viable in India as the expense in less in India) They don't organize public Valorant events . They have only done enough to fullfill RITO's obligation which was given to them and nothing more. If GES was so focused to win rather than create a nourishing environment for Indian valorant scene then I will treat them as another Asia -Pacific team like DFM . I refuse to say GES is an Indian org and Indian fans should not support them for being an Indian org but rather support them as an org in VCT Asia-pacific .

@@ayanmondal1953 The thing is GE as a lone org cannot develop Indian valorant scene , which is already quiet behind other regions be in term of ecosystem or player. I think it take whole of Indian valorant community to do it and then also it will take time.

if somebody in country outside fails in esports has another shot at other things but in India if they fail at esports, they probably would not be able to do anything else and they will be categorised as failure for life. Most of the players outside get their pc while they are minors but in India most of the people get their PC, if they enter the college or else they are content doing everything with their smartphones. There is also a fact that the hunger for this kind of stuff is very less among Indians due to the study and land a job and they stay comfortably after that.
