Have both - They are different in the Form of their Power source. Giiker runs on AA battery vs. Swift Block that has a built in rechargeable battery pack. Swift Block goes for timed solves vs. Giiker for the Ability to solve. If you want to time, you will have to do it on your own. Both show you how to place the pieces but only the Swift Block tracks your moves in real time and shows on the display. That makes it look more and quicker responsive than Giiker. The Pieces themselves are a different approach too. Giiker gave them some texture vs. Swift Block totally smooth. Almost like Tiled Rubiks Speed meets smooth stickerless Gan 356. Swift Block is more for the competitive soul, the Giiker for those that enjoy the Puzzle part over speed . Solving, finding a solution I’d say. The Giiker is the a bit simpler, grounded one but that hasn’t to be a bad thing. For me the Giiker is a bit more accessible. If you need help just press the L button. With Swift Block you have to get your phone and the app. The VS Mode against real people online is unique to the Swift Block. Swift Block offers a second Game Mode with its Numbers Puzzle option the Giiker doesn’t. At least not at the same Device.

So is the sole purpose to get the big square into place, or is it possible to do random puzzles?

Yeah with the app you can do lots of different modes, not just the big square thing

@@NobleCubes Only with the app? As i would like to get one for my kids but i don't want them to need an app. And otherwise i'm afraid it will be too one dimensional if it's just the big square game they could play

Just got mine but can't get the app to work. Stays Chinese even when I set it to English, also it asks to upgrade firmware to 1.28 but keeps crashing. It's a very fun puzzle but the app is terrible 😂

Quick reply/update to my own comment, the app works perfectly on my ipad pro just tested it, but doesn't work at all on Android even though I have a flagship latest gen phone , they should really fix this. It's great fun when it works
