Totally agree. I don't understand why this channel is not getting more subs. I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your channel!!! You have come on leaps and bounds, and I am amazed at your talents. You are amazing. I cannot get over how you done so much built-ins so perfectly, you have surpassed any carpenter skills. Plumbing yourself and all other things you have done. I would join your patreon. Don't be discourage if it take a little time to gather members, it always takes time. Whatever you do - KEEP GOING. Suggestion: Let Patreons suggest what you make??? If someone wants to learn how to make a particular item ( small items - not huge projects).

Most definitely any pattern member will get to have a say in the content. I picture them being like Craftmas videos but a little slower. A small project I can really teach everyone through. I hope your channel explodes this year! Your skill level is insane!! It would be fun to see more videos of you teaching other people how to redo their spaces. So many people feel too intimidated to start and they can relate to someone else learning new skills from you. It would be amazing if you could guide them in the design process and finishing their space. It could easily be a 2-3 part video. Your most viewed video is your nieces/nephews space and it’s likely because many people struggle making cute kid rooms (especially for multiple kids in the same room). That concept applied to another family would be awesome! It is something so many people can relate to. Smart design makes a world of difference. Good luck! Please do not give up, I love your content, it is so creative yet still relatable. After having my second child this past year I started to loose myself a bit, being a mom is great but i needed something outside of that to help me feel fulfilled. Watching your videos gave me the inspiration and confidence to tackle diy projects that i would never have thought i could do before! I transformed my kitchen and have a list of projects i want to try. I can't wait to see what you do next. I would love to see a collab with DIY Dannie, she is in my neck of the woods.

I have a KZbin channel as well, and I stepped away for an entire year because the YT algorithm seems to mostly promote clickbait and trash content. I wish there was an alternative platform created for DIYers/crafters -- like an Etsy version of YT. (Etsy from 10 years ago) 😂 Every social media platform eventually morphs into flaming hot garbage. I think YT is getting there. I'm still rooting for you, Mailey, and I suffer through every ad for you. I pray for significant channel growth this year! 🙏🏽❤💪

Maybe you can reuse some content and deep dive in to how to make a three story bed, how to measure, which tools to use and how to use them. Don’t give up! Your videos are fun and engaging. Don’t stop being you. You don’t know how many channels I’ve purged because they stopped being themselves and now do “ad” videos for businesses that have nothing to do with their content. Your projects are always well thought out and skillfully done, even the smaller projects. Focus on what makes you happy not the fake AI of YT. When I see a notification you’ve posted a new video, I’m like ohhhh what has she created this time?! Sounds like you have a good plan of attack to beat that algorithm ( doesn't even show me when new videos are up, community announcement brought me here😵‍💫) love the idea of collabs, especially if you're gonna host something like a thrift flip theme challenge where proceeds go to charity. Hard to say no to all the good vibes and new content creators that come from such collaboration. Put Andrew from Reissued on your list, he's going through the same struggles with channel growth. Maybe this video title will be the one that pushes the algorithms buttons. It loves the " oh no I'm in trouble"🙀 click bait titles, because apparently that's the drama people crave? We're here for you but more so, glad you have Jordan's excellent advice and support to lean on. Do what you love and you'll love what you do.😻

I forgot which video it was, but my husband wanted to do something you had previously done, so I showed him one of your videos and he loved how easily you explain everything. I love your personality (probably because it's similar to mine 🤣) and I like that you're not always trying to sell us something! You can tell you just honestly love creating and teaching. Mailey, you have such a talent for combining things and designing spaces. Couldn't you even come up with redesign ideas for projects that subscribers send you? So many people have a room at home that they are not happy with and would love some good ideas. Your way of achieving a result is so exciting and instructive. You sometimes show alternatives, e.g. you order several wallpapers or colours or arrangements of things, which is so cool.

Doing it over and over again it burns you out for real! What helps me with getting my reviews out is I think of things that make me happy in my life to motivate me! I've seen channels take over 10 yrs to get 100K subs. It's a tough business. Keep your good vibes up, the people with the most positive energy seem to get the most subs. And there is a fair amount of luck in it too. That's all I can say.

Thanks for hanging in there, Mailey. I can't imagine how frustrating it is to put all of this hard work in and not see results. If you haven't already thought of it, I'd suggest a course on growing your channel. DIY Huntress has one with 3 other creators and Dean from DIY wife has one too. But I find him very annoying and I am not a fan of his hijinks and wasting my time by showing the driving to stores, shopping at Lowe's (unless it's to show the difference in products or how to find something), eating lunch, and unnecessary drone shots of driving. So maybe DIY Huntress is a better option! I hope this isn't offensive but I don't find it necessary to have the video shot from the side and then back to the front. I'm talking about the videos like this and the vlogmas ones. I'll be here wishing you success! Edited to add that I think it's good that you added the Amazon affliate links. One note about that. I noticed in your pantry one it looks like the spice jars aren't linked (if you did get them from Amazon). A thought about video length. I like between 20-30 minutes. If a project is more in-depth, it could be split into multiple videos like you did on the closet build.

Oh that's an interesting point also not offended at all. I just watch a lot of video about how to help with retention and keeping viewers engaged and that was one of the suggestions. People have the attention span of a Gold Fish haha!!!! Also when I am doing a project that second angle helps capture what I'm doing better if the front angle doesn't. I'll definitely look into doing a course I would love to do that even though I'm not sure what I would cover in said course haha. I know that might be not true right now but KZbin needs you, and so do us. There is so much of your content that we can’t find anywhere else.
