Sorensen discusses production potential for North Dakota’s oil resources and enhanced oil recovery’s (EOR’s) role in how the state maintains and possibly grows its oil production. He highlights prospective sources of captured carbon dioxide for use in EOR and how this technology can produce the low carbon intensity oil needed to meet the market demand. Sorensen demonstrates the EERC’s capabilities to address the challenges to making EOR a reality in North Dakota.
