The Future of SOC Glitters | will it make it?

My tumbler-making days are FAR from over, as crafting has become an increasingly important stress reliever for myself and many others. However, the future of my glitter shop is uncertain due to the economic downturn. I have taken steps to weather the storm, but only time will tell if it will be enough.
I'm happy to have these memories with our family and we hope you enjoy our journey as well. Thank you for being here and supporting this crazy crew.

I feel for you. I had my own business for almost 30 years. It wasn’t in your field though. How I figured my prices to charge was I added ALL the time to produce the product from the time I got it, time it took me to organize or create it, time upon completion, travel time….everything. It was more than I thought. How much do I want to make per hour? How much is your time worth? If it turned out less than the minimum wage….well, you have to make a choice. If it turns out more, than you got your answer and go on from there. Don’t consider anything you decide to do a failure or disappointment. You have a wonderful product and should be proud. I hope I helped you or perhaps encouraged you in some way. Your own words are coming back to you…you got this. 💕

So sad and your products are excellant. I do hope you will still make tutorial's. I completely understand your situation. You have always been very inspirational. At least your honest and give us heads up in case you no longer sell your glitters. The company I bought my pricey turner on Etsey they say they are taking a breack. But,it's been weeks. The chucks I use and need are only available from them and specific tumbler such as the one from them. Hope they don't go under. Thanks for all you do.

I can totally relate I love your glitters … I hated having to stop getting my subscription boxes they were the best ❤ . I’ve sold 2 cups this month that’s it ! I used to sell $1,000 plus in tumblers which isn’t much but it supplemented my income , you are right the first that goes is hobbies , and when someone can’t buy groceries they sure can’t afford a 40 dollar cup 😢… I’m praying the economy turns around for us all , love you Sandy ❤

PS: I also had my own business for 3 years creating from my home. I did 2 to 3 craft shows a month going all over the state of Florida on both East and West coasts. I had to give it up as I was offered to good of a position at the same place I previously was employed at. That was over 25 yrs ago. LOL Happily retired and making my tumblers and watching what you'll come up with next.
