The Future of Sonic in 2025

It's gonna be a long, hard wait, but I'm A-Ok with Sonic 4 coming out in 2027. It means they have time to hammer the script just right, and gives the animators plenty of time to work without major crunch. Hopefully. Jeff Fowler, the director of all these movies, worked on Shadow the Hedgehog and did VFX with Blur Studio, so he knows how important it is to treat the VFX crew right. I have a lot of respect for that alone.

I’m not sure about the IDW comic they’re barely keeping up with just the main line series. I don’t think they can handle all this at once. I mean, I love this series, but I feel like they don’t have enough people working on it with all these comics at once

I always thought that the time slots were always because of them trying to not only get the script so good that the fans will love it, but also make sure that the actors are at their best. The animation is also at its best and they make sure that they stay faithful to the source material without screwing the fans over, but that’s my take on it. What’s yours blue stride?

@@OrangeToadGamer i mean it depends if they specifically talking about how idw handled sonic's morals then...yeah it's a valid critique but if something else either it's minor and or the twitter is beitching about it because YOU KNOW! twitter in general is a toxic place. as for amy though it's nostalgia...i'mma keep it simple you see some fans actually liked amy's older potrayals you know when her love was used for gags and comedic reasons and when she chasing sonic around etc...some fans actually liked that kind of potrayal of her back in 2000's they are mad now just because ian wants to mature the character such as mellowing amy out and make sonic and amy stop eachother instead have a closer relationship and bond with eachother (forexample if amy wants to hug amy sonic won't run away from her anymore) or how he said he don't want her love for sonic to be her singular note and motivation like it doesn't want it to be her entire character while still acknowledging the fact she still loves sonic because that's who she is etc.. and because of that some fans aren't happy with the direction he's taking with amy like they don't like how they modernized her character.

Hear me out Open zone space game where they travel space Everyone’s character gets pushed to their limit We get a scene were sonics is supposed to get angry like in sonic x and go dark sonic But instead he gets that main character moment and just shows how no matter how pushed, no matter how tired, his spirit never changes and never gets tired Also game emphasizes in wind and wind related abilities Tails will go and grow into a leader, no longer behind sonic next and even ahead at times Knuckles will have more courage and be carefree like sonic but in his style Amy will show her love to the planets around, but encounters someone passionate towards a lover of hers that tells amy to not hold back, life in this world isn’t forever, so one must act now, reminding amy she needs to step up with sonic Shadow will be, uh, shadowing 💀 Also hub worlds like unleashed but open like shadow gens, and very interactive and all Tho this is impossible for 2025, likely 2027 would be good
