@@BoHorn So? If you want I'll link a video proving they're the Same Guy just as we thought in the preseason. It's one that analyzes what both QBs do before play-calling or lack of on-field talent ends plays. They do the Exact Same Things pre & post-snap. About the only _real_ difference is that Young's long ball looks weak. How or why does Every NFL Fan Forget that play-calling matter Every Other Second but for far longer than they can remember it? It can't be both. Purdy can't only be great within Shanahan's system & all the play-callers for all the bad QBs all be non-factors. These things are Mutually Exclusive. Either play-calling matters or it doesn't. The Bears had a 5-game streak of improved offense in '23. It used the same plays that made them the #1 offense for 3 weeks in '22. Before anyone dismisses this, how many multi-game good offensive streaks did Zach Wilson have over those 2 years? Exactly. The 2ns streak coincided with them acquiring a new DC & Montez Sweat. The HC who boasts about meddling in the offense was therefore too busy to do so. So we have 8 of 30 games where we know he was meddling less because the 3 in '22 used the same plays as those 5 games in '23 & all other 22 games he meddled in were all different plays. So we have a 100% correlation between play-calling & offensive production. People keep dismissing Fields despite a Clear Indication That the play-calling is affecting not only him but the entire offense. Same with Young. Cripes, there's No Need to pigeon-hole anyone, ever. How would you like to walk into work one day knowing everyone now pigeon-holes _you_ based on a throwaway phrase someone spewed? You'd want to murder them. Can anyone grow past junior high?

They have a pretty damn good d-line and Jonathan Taylor is great. Also Stechien is a damn good coach. If Anthony Richardson can stay healthy they can be a really good team. I think they could fight for a wild card spot The Jags yeah in my opinion they are finishing third in the division they haven’t really made any moves that would scare us. Interestingly, as much as I like the potential within this division, all 4 teams have the same weakness that can hold them back from greatness: ownership. If any of the team's owners want to start flexing their power, this spells trouble for team cohesion. Colts - Jim Irsay is pretty much in his "crazy old man yelling at clouds" phase, and he was the one who hired Jeff Saturday, who was woefully unprepared, to be the head coach. Texans - While the Texans caught lightning in a bottle, never forget that Cal McNair was the one who hired the cancer known as Jack Easterby, and look what happened. Hopefully McNair learned his lesson. Titans - The shadow of the late Bud Adams continues to loom over this team. Vrabel was let go in spite of his resume mainly cause he would not be a yes-man to Bud's daughter, who owns the team now. Plus, with how thin the talent level on this team is, I doubt even the best coaches can take this team to contend, let alone hoist the Lombardi. Jaguars - The way Tony Khan runs AEW should worry Jaguars fans. Although Shahid is the owner, Tony is most likely the next owner if anything happens to his father. Based on his conduct and how flaky AEW's product is, the future of the Jaguars is not looking good if Tony Khan plans to run the Jaguars the same way.

I think the division goes like this 1. Texans winning 12-13 games going 4-2 in the division losing to the titans and the colts. They have a mostly complete roster, great coaching, depth, and a solid QB. Worst case scenario is that stroud has a sophomore slump and there’s locker room trouble with a guy like diggs and they win 9 or 10 but I don’t see any reason to suspect this. They have the potential to contend if they play to their full potential and seriously believe that their the best team in the division as of now. 2. Titans winning 10-11 games and going 4-2 in the division losing to the Texans and colts. An often not talked about point is that the titans almost won 6 of the games they lost last year by one score. That means Tennessee with a terrible offense with the worst o line in the league and one receiver were almost able to beat the colts and Texans along with other teams. Levis’s supporting cast was atrocious last year and now it’s improved massively with a modern coaching staff, a solid if not great receiving core, one of the greatest o line coaches in nfl history with a young o line, and a running back room conducive to passing not purely running (no offense to king Henry). The defense is also arguably much better under denard Wilson as dc. He created a shutdown corner squad in Baltimore and now he has sneed and awuzie to work with on top of Mccreary forming a dangerous unit on paper on top of Tennessees still great front with Landry and Simmons and new guys like Murray and sweat that have potential. I don’t see this squad taking the division yet but they will see serious improvements as Levis comes into form and will constantly nip at the texans heels throughout the year. 3. The Colts. Winning 9-10 games going 3-3 in their division losing once to everyone. I think the colts are a sneaky squad this year but they don’t have the roster on paper needed to compete with Tennessee and Texas. Richardson has phenomenal athleticism but he had a very small sample size last year and this will practically speaking be a mini rookie year for him. I’m not saying he’ll slump but he hasn’t had the more complete experience of stroud or even Levis at this point and I think he’ll need to make some adjustments as the season goes on. My biggest problem with the colts though is their defense. Their offense is powerful but how are they stopping the Texans or titans as they go downfield? Ridley, diggs, Moore, and Hopkins could eat that secondary alive and both the Texans and titans defenses have what it takes to get crucial stops (the titans especially). I think that’s what their missing because I just don’t see the defensive talent they need to take the division. They may sneak into the playoffs but I don’t see them topping the Texans or titans short of either being chronically injured or just completely falling apart. Solid but not there yet. 4. The jaguars winning 7-8 games and going 1-5 in the division. The jags are the worst team in the afc south on paper and don’t understand the hype that surrounds them. They gained very little in the offseason compared to any of their division rivals, Lawrence has yet to show the “chosen one potential” that he was drafted on, and I don’t see the offensive or defensive firepower needed to compete in this new division. For that reason I think most of their losses come from their division and that the jags will take the offseason to retool and improve their offense for one last shot with Lawrence next year unless he completely blows up this year (I don’t think he will). I think the jags can be good and even great but not with their current squad, they need more in the modern afc south.

I think the titans are a wildcard team at 10-7 or 9-8 and beating out the colts for 2nd cuz I think we sweep the colts and going 1-1 in the rest of the division. I also think Houston plateaus this year, with such a unexpected season last year took ppl by surprise that won't happen this year. Even if Lawrence finally turns into a quality starter nothing about this team is scary. Colts have nice pieces but Richardson is still completely unproven. Everyone parrots his athleticism, but in his 4 games last year he had one of the worst QBRs in the league. He could turn out to be a complete bum at throwing the ball, his athleticism won’t matter then. But the Colts should be solid even if Richardson is bad because their roster is good. Titans are a total wild card no one can honestly evaluate them. Entirely new coaching staff which could flop horribly, Levis has all the talent in the world but had a pretty bad rookie year still (horrible situation though), but you have to give the front office props for dramatically improving the roster. That’s the question for those types teams and then you get QBs that was able to sit as a rookie and learn as team build for future success.. then you got the QBs that start slow due to many reasons that don’t mean instant failure, “it’s not how you start, it’s how u finish” So it’s A chance for QBs like Trevor, lots of QBs that started slow is in the Hall Of Fame, plenty of those type of QBs like Payton, Elway, Drew Brees.. etc My point is year 5 for all QBs if given the chance is where you see the Trajectory of where a QB is going.

And then you have to deal with Diggs in the locker room complaining about splitting stats with two other receivers. I’m not particularly moved by their acquisition of Joe Mixon, either. He’s a lateral move from Singletary, if anything. I don’t see their rushing game improving much because of that move alone

I'm buying the Texans hype, least for the regular season, and think they'll win the division with real competition for it only coming from 1 team. That team being the Colts. They overachieved last season, but I believe they'll build off it and not regress. If Richardson breaks out, they could be just as good as the Texans. The Jaguars feel like a fringe playoff team at best, but I think they'll underachieve and have a rough year that leads to some front office and coaching housecleaning. Trevor Lawrence deserves better. As for the Titans, I don't like what I'm seeing at all and think they're a bottom 3 team with a record that reflects that fact. They and New England are my frontrunners for having thr top pick in the next draft

That future is not as rosy as it might seem. Cause both Stroud and Richardson have far FAR shorter expiration dates on their careers. Richardson will most likely be traded away toward the end of his rookie contract or "injury out". Stroud will likely get a contract from the Texans but he will already be on the downhill stride of his career by then. Cause just like how you dont see many RBs in the league have much success over 30 as nature and time take their toll focing them to lose a step. Levis and Lawrence have potential for long term success simply based on the reality that their feet are NOT their only skillset. They have arm talent but more importantly they have mental capacity that Richardson specifically (and stroud to a lesser extent) severely lacks to be a viable long term NFL caliber QB. These "wildcat" QBs are a plague on the game. They have turned the entire league into "what have you done for me lately" even within the existing season. We dont see teams develop on anywhere near the same level now. The league is pushing WAY too hard into the territory of the NBA where teams are just thrown together to win championships mostly through draft and FA aquisition instead of actual team building and the NBA is all the more forgettable for it.
@AMC52745 ай бұрын
What are you smoking bro 🤣🤣😂 Just go ahead and say you have a thing against black QBs. Stroud proved to be a consistently excellent QB who was not relying on his legs, and Richardson had his pocket passing moments but will def need to have more discipline in the pocket.

@@AMC5274 Dont be a bigot. I have nothing against black QBs. I have something against WILDCAT QBs and that applies to white QBs like Josh Allen who we also see taking a step back as his speed has dropped. Which we DONT see the same issue in Jordan Love for example. Strouds success was that quick spark that now that NFL teams are getting more film of him, he is about to hit a MAJOR sophmore slump. Get your racist shit out of here and go look at why you had to make this racist when it clearly wasnt.
@ViroVV5 ай бұрын
@@AMC5274 Dude, take that bigotry out of here. I have a problem against WILDCAT QBs. Color has nothing to do with it. Thats why we have seen guys like Josh allen take a huge step back as his foot speed is naturally declining. Its also a reason why guys like Love in GB are going to be around for a while. If 80% of your "ability" is rooted in how fast you can run at QB, the length of that career will reflect that limited of a skillset for a position that requires at least 3 layers of talent. Which is why guys like Lamar might do OK in the regular season but blow in the playoffs. Hes got mid arm skill but hes got absolutely horrendous mental skill. They should have never done away with Wonderlic as its the MOST important metric for a QB and it was pure racism to get rid of it. The only one making this an issue of racism is you and your baseless assumptions that show your true colors.
