First off, congratulations for reaching 98 videos and 790 subscribers. Both feats take an incredible amount of hard work. I remember catching your first visit your friend in Ohio video. I knew you were going to rise and be a star. I watched this update video and some of the stuff you were saying has gone through my mind for my own channel and I can bet others as well. Don't get discouraged!!!!! From my view, channel growth has a lot to do with having content that could be interesting to a wide audience, number of videos that meet a certain minimum of quality and word of mouth/ sharing through social networks or even leaving appropriate comments on other channels. I discovered a few reddit groups focusing on new KZbinrs that had some really good tips especially for what you're describing like when you feel your stuff isn't hitting as well as it should, you can adjust your style to target different types of audiences. Example, content that your current subscribers like and some different stuff that brings in new people. If you can somehow make new types of content fit with your overall channel mindset, keep it all on one channel. I would totally watch commentary videos on your channel, even if it's been mostly skits up until now. Grow your brand by keeping it together. Once you hit multiple millions, starting a second channel is less of a risk. You just don't want to stretch people's attention between two channels too early, it could feel like too much effort. Also, don't stress so much about the numbers. Not gonna lie, I love seeing large view counts too but consistency is key too. Usually the stuff I expect to get zero views are in my most popular playlist and they don't even blow up till like two weeks after I post em. Set a schedule where certain content comes out on certain days or times. Always dream big, but don't create expectations you can't meet either, or you'll burn out. I hit 50 subs when you hit 100 and I'm almost to 150 with you're nearing 800. I see both of us as being successful so far in our different crafts. Keep up your drive, don't let the algorithm get you down. Stay on the path cause you got the talent, all you gotta do is keep putting yourself out there. Once you hit 1k, 2k will arrive quicker than the first 1. Then you'll hit 50k in a few months and be blown away. You got this, keep your head high. 👍

Thanks bro, I appreciate all of the support and perspectives over the past couple months. And yea, I think starting a second channel could divide my attention a bit more than need be, especially at the size I am now. If I was at like 100k or 200k, it would be more sensible. I also think I need to get a better idea of my audience and their interests to see what they like. The scheduling of specific content could also be really good for the channel as well so that everyone gets something they like.

Damn, it turned out you were right all along considering that now you get hundred of thousands of views each video (which only KZbinrs with minimum a million subscribers get) You only need those who watch your content to subscribe because you’re consistent with the amount of views you get and it’s *WILD* that you get this amount of views with 13 thousand subscribers *ONLY*
