I sort of saw myself out after Endgame, for multiple reasons. The main reason being that I don't have Disney+, and therefore quickly fell behind on the ten thousand shows they released on that platform. I liked it when I could keep up by going to the cineplex or buying DVDs...now I have to subscribe to their thingy and I'm just not gonna do it. Still, I have seen some of the shows and some of the movies from phases 4-5, and I have been paying attention from a distance to the things I haven't seen. It really seems like they put out WAY too many shows and movies and the focus of phases 1-3 is gone. I liked how the earlier MCU all connected via the Infinity Stones, and now a lot of these projects don't seem connected at all. Maybe I'm wrong.

I find it odd how Armor Wars and Blade is getting sidelined and instead, they’re shoehorning a Wanda movie in its place. As far as the Young Avengers go Marvel really need to hold off on that one, cause if they rush that then…well you know how the DCEU ended up. Honestly, I’d rather see a Power Pack movie before they do it anyway. They’re a more established hero group and been out far longer and also, add ROM to the movie, just to make things a little more interesting, especially since they deal with space a lot. But the reality of it all, Marvel right now is suffering from both new character and old character development and the threats are mid at best. I’ve stated ad nauseam, how the heroes are not getting challenged enough in their respective movies when they should be struggling like Iron Man, Thor, Captain America and hell, even Blade didn’t have it easy in his first two outings. These producers are getting lost in the sauce, due to Marvel’s popularity and allowing hidden agendas to cloud the source material. Look at how “docile” the Incredible Hulk is now. There’s no reason why we don’t have a full on rampaging beast. I know they’re bring in Red Hulk, but for how long will they let him go crazy before they have him either effeminate, killed off, or confusingly calm like Bruce aka Professor Hulk?

I'm thinking "Thunderbolts" is going to generate some much-needed hype for the Marvel machine, bringing in such little-heard-from favourites as Red Guardian, Ghost, USAgent and Taskmaster as well as The Bucky Barnes aka Winter Soldier/White Wolf. But the icing on the cake, I think, is going to be how President Ross (Red Hulk) and the First Daughter (Red She-Hulk) will figure into it.
