As a stay at home mom, where is the robot to help me around my house doing all my chores, folding laundry and putting it away. These should be the first jobs that should be replaced!

Great discussion, but in some ways I think they're a bit too optimistic, at least when it comes to the good nature of businesses. As an American, I can't see most businesses willingly paying workers the same for a 4 day work week, as they did for 5. Trying to retrain or upskilling people is all well and good, if we really can create enough new jobs, but either way there's going to be a ton of people who'll be left behind, who either are not capable of upskilling, or have no interest in working in those remaining areas. Why should someone who's spent 40 years making art assets for video games, suddenly be forced to become a "prompt engineer" when they have less than zero interest in becoming that? I do agree for the most part tho, the idea of "jobs" are going to have to change pretty significantly. Also, he thinks there'll never be an AI which can talk someone down form suicide, I'm not so sure. We used to think creative jobs would be the absolute last thing AI could do.
