The AI in this final Futures race was ridiculously challenging, perhaps unrealistically so. We try to grind through the battle and also find out some more new stuff from the Career Mode today in Episode 2. Enjoy!

I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought the AI gets boosts in turns it’s hard to keep up or keep a lead with their turn ability and also speed boosts in certain parts of tracks

I’m already in my second season of 250 Racing. I started In the west and got 2nd In the points now I’m in the first round of 250 East and if I win the title I’m staying to try and defend my #1 Plate.

The 2 second gap in that first race is something I’ve noticed in supercross 3. It’s unrealistic compared to real life but they will show a different gap around different parts of the track. The true gap is whenever you cross the finish line. As cool as the new riders and bikes and teams and graphics and stuff are, I refuse to buy 4 or 5 until they fix the AI glitches and change the physics back. I’m not spending $60-$80 on an unfinished game

I got an HRC offer for my 1st rookie season in realistic mode. Also, I entered the extra event and its way way way harder than Supercross Futures. And so is Rd 1 of the west coast series. I thought it was impossible at first. Turns out you just have to be perfect for the entire race and grip it and rip it. The whole field was within a second and a half lap times. So stressed out by the AI. You run them up the berm, make the corner perfect, and they somehow come back on you on the inside of the next turn. There's just no way! Its annoying af but I kinda like that this game is ACTUALLY hard.

AI are so f-'in hard this year. They punt you into corners and it's so hard to maintain a smooth rhythm. But it seems like everyone else is having a blast with it, and I feel like I'm the only one who has issues with all the hardest difficulties.

It’s the exact same unrealistic boosts like for there turning ability I watch the replay a few times and saw there forks and it was really far left or right way farther than we can go

If you request a contract and they reject you, you can still chose one of the teams or sponsors. For my career, I just requested GASGAS every chance I got until they accepted.

The AI is hard in this game, i have it set to easy because i’m still learning, i had. 28 second lead at daytona in the game and they caught up to me and my controller died and then i was in last so i restarted and won i’m daytona you go wide open on a lot of the rhythms

The fact that they will not let you have your upgraded bike, just sets you up for failure from the beginning. Between that and the fact that the AI won't give you any room whatsoever, and do nothing but run you off the track in the turns and get in your way....yeah, I had to just dive and skip the last 2 futures races. Luckily it will still let you sign with a team and move to Rookie mode which is so much easier...

Ive been doing career on medium and winning in the 250 class. Then Indy 3. The ai did 1:02s in qualies and I got top spot with a :58. Then in the race all ai did :55s and destroyed me.

I really wish they would have allowed players to be a little more creative like with jerseys and being able to move the sponsor logo’s wherever you want to so like the Motul on the middle of the back, it would be cool to turn it so it’s diagonal or to the left and so on

Seems like it's only the girls that gap you in the futures class lol but it really seems like the slow you down when you are going fast and not that the ai rides faster. I love the concept of the career mode I have so many I ideas love the keeping in shape idea should be like real bike rides and weights lol

personally i like the really hard and somewhat unrealistic ai because not every race you will not be the fastest and even in real life. Tomac is not always the fastest but sometimes still wins. people just think it should be handed to them.

Timing is weird also in some tracks in Supercross 4 where there'll be a change of +-3 seconds in a matter of a track segment (always with the same segment). Not sure what's happening, but it's not right.

The Ai is really triggering me. Unless you get hokeshot or clear past them without being taken out your in for a chance but man its not even hard they flat out are just broken, dont even get me started in the speedbump they give can be running through a fast rythen and from no where Ai is like whatuoop boom of the the track

I wish they would do a release every 3rd year....that way they could take the time to add ruts, free air physics, you know stuff that should be in a mx/sx game in 2022. Then just do roster/bike/team/and track updates for the years in between as paid DLC. It will never happen, but the game could be 10xs better if they approached it this way.

For some stupid reason my sponsors wouldn’t show up on my bike but in 450 it is not like that but when I chose the Troy lee designs red bull gasgas it was just a regular gasgas no sposors just bone stock no exhaust no nothing

Biggest problem with this game is the A.I. in races, I got into the 250 west and on the hardest setting its almost impossible to get through a race without being taken out. And yes I'm actually pretty good at the game but the AI just pushes you off the track and they are constantly grouped together the entire race which is very unrealistic. I'm all for the game being harder as I complained about how easy it was before but they completely screwed the pooch in trying to make the game more difficult. Now it's just completely unrealistic and goofy....

I wish they were more consistent in the 450 class. Some races you can lap the whole field and some races they are on your ass the WHOLE RACE. I don’t mind a tough AI, but I hate it when you are expecting a tough race and gap 2nd place by 20 seconds in the first lap. Another thing that irritates me, why are all the top guys finishing in the back of the pack and the privateers are towards the front?

KELLEN, Could you please make a video of SX5 not having Custom Tracks available for Time Attack like it did for SX4 I’m pretty disappointed about that as I enjoy just kind of riding solo against my ghost without hearing all the 19 motorcycles makin’ all that noise, I mostly race replicas in time attack but Milestone got rid of that option, please make a video to let Milestone know to bring that back please. Better yet let us play race the custom track replicas in time attack against others online players times - it would bring more life to SX5 for a lot of us. Please mention this in a video or message Milestone please 🙏

Okay so I have been playing now for like two days straight and the AI isn’t really hard they are broken. The game is so much more unrealistic than previous installments. I get it just released but it’s so buggy and the AI is just the worst. Oh and the compound tracks are a joke. Hope it gets better, but so far this game I’ve had a bad time with. As of now I’d tell people to stay away.
