I looked for this song for years under the wrong title. When I found it, I was in heaven. I always loved the intro to the song. Their harmonies always tight. Wish that Boys II Men would do some home grown music and take selections from the Futures catalog. So that others who don't know about the music of the Futures can reach back for the original and see how awesome and underrated the group is.

I was 10 years old when this came out. And it made me feel nothing but live for all the girls around me. Also taught me how to sing with harmony.

Man o man, I remember as a youngbuck standing on the Corner of 24 & Redner street in North Philly, at our store front on 25 Street side, I just thank God I had the chance to be a part of the 70s, even though we did the Gang War thing, I think back to those day's, are the Memories of all those Philly Group's who use to BATTLE each other, they helped us get threw those time's, thank's to all of them, TSOP.

My mom and dad had music this is one I enjoyed. As a teenager I would go through a stack of 45's that went from the floor to the ceiling in the corner of the room by our stereo. For hours I would jam. Thanks so much brought back good memories. Its now in my saved playlist under 1825 so I can listen again and again. And yes, I just subscribed! LOVE THE FUTURES

These were The Futures before they were with Gamble and Huff. They were with Lamb Johnson's AMJO Records. A Tim Murphy, Robert Jefferson Joe Norman sound. Those were the days. Look out now.

One of the writers of this song passed away Ray Johnson (RIP). The Futures were a dynamic group in Philly but they had several trials and struggles in the music industry. Would be great to see an Unsung episode about their history!

william gurcsik The singers were from South Philly (they went to South Philly HS and Bok). The band was from West Philly (Overbrook HS). Lamb Johnson and Joe Norman were responsible for putting the 2 groups together to make a self-contained group. After years the singers and the band parted ways. AMJO’s (named after Lamb and Joe) offices and rehearsal studio was located at the address on the record label.
