Try going to Eastman Leather in Plymouth. I went from Slovenia. Total costs for travel can be as low as 300.00 EUR (GoOpti, RyanAir, Stansted Express, London City Bus, Great Western Railway, Plymouth City bus) and you can get your own room for 30.00 EUR per night. I tried many of their jackets, took the G-1 home. Btw. Plymouth is such a nice city, that ELC quickly becomes the 2nd reason you want to go there. Pozdrav!

I really appreciate this video, earlier today I pulled a 60s G-1 jacket at the thrift store, I had a feeling that it was special love to see the background and history of this jacket. I’m making sure I’ll keep this forever. Thank you!!!

@@darkhero2114 I think the B-10 is more usable everyday. And super warm if it's lined in alpaca. I had one from Aero years ago and regret selling it.

@@derekdoeschannel Oh man, I'd never sell a jacket like the B10 unless it was very necessary. It's really expensive, so I never got to buy one.

@@darkhero2114it was a prototype version when Aero was making them back in the early 2000s. It wasn’t that much back then. I miss it though.

Hi Derek any reviews on the cwu ? And do you know what p 36 & p45 stands for on the label ?

Once I get one I'll do a review on it. As to the P 36 and P45 I think the difference is the 45 has a removable lining while the 36 doesn't.

They really don't make them like they use too. That's why these older jackets have such an appeal.

I wear an Eastman G-1 daily and I must say yours fits you great. The collar is good in the early winter. But the jacket becomes very cold at about 0 Celsius even when wearing a 200 g Woolpower turtleneck under it. In any case not a warm jacket at all. Greetings.

Thanks! Eastman makes a super fine jacket. I was surprised how well it fit myself. And non insulated goatskin becomes like steel when it hits 0. No insulation at all in it, but it is good when it's cool outside.

@@TheBlues088I have the same Eastman G-1 jacket. Awesome jacket but you’re right on really cold days it doesn’t insulate enough. I switch to the B-3 on super cold days or in the evenings.

Thanks. These really vary in price. From $100 for say a Vietnam-ish year jacket up to thousands for the older rarer models. It's not really about the jacket, but the manufacture/year when it comes to prices.
