Open chords are really awesome. So much available to you without moving your hands too much.

Good stuff. Should also show the Cadd9 when doing the 3 chord trick. About the fastest 3 chord change you can do. You should do a video of all busker chords. They are very simple to learn and your B string finger never moves. Most have complex sounding names but are simple to do. Can play tons of songs with them. Love the C moved 2 frets down. Best sounding individual 4 strings ever to me. Just play the 4 middle strings individually from A to B and back up. Sweet.

Interesting tips. I've found a few of these from using cheater chords early on & looking at the differences between similar chords when learning songs... At some point, maybe my theory knowledge will catch up & I'll know immediately that it was actually a 'WHATEVERminorSUS4orsomething' chord, but I'm happy to have moved on from just cowboy chords. These kind of embellishments sound great & have really improved my playing. You know there's a reason why those guys chose to use them. ;-) Just gotta learn where they all are now! LOL.

It doesn’t help this old South Georgia boy! Would drinking scotch when I’m looking at Tony’s videos help? I’m willing to try, but I really don’t like scotch. Kentucky bourbon is more my style.
