I’ve played guitar for a lot of years and I’m always on the hunt for noodling patterns. I love this one. It’s so melodic and has so much potential to expand. I’ll spend many hours with this and I can hear a few songs hiding in there. Cheers, Rick

Tony, you did a video a few months ago with those 2 chord shapes going up & down the neck, without the licks, and that's how I found your lessons. I've been hooked ever since. That progression is what I play when I'm in the guitar store, so simple and so pleasing to the ear! Thank you!

All these videos are great to learn so nice little chords to help with songwriting. I might have some lyrics that work with this. The intro to Cheap Tricks, "Come on Come on" is a good simple example of this.

Very nice. I’ve been playing 49 years this year…..but you never stop picking up new stuff…..that’s what I’ve always loved about guitar….and most guitarists love to share knowledge. The ones that don’t? I feel sorry for!

I have to get myself an acoustic, should a used guitar be considered?
@johnnybgood781210 ай бұрын
Definitely but always try before you buy. Most larger guitar stores will have plenty of pre-owned guitars for you to sit down and try. The one that feels most comfortable for you is the one that you’ll play the most.

Hard to understand that heavy accent but it sounded like you said index finger on the 9th fret of the G and the pinky and index finger on the D& E. Did you mean D and A ?
@GuitarME10 ай бұрын
Yes D and A 😂 it’s a common theme with my videos that my E’s and A’s get people confused. Thank you for watching, hope you enjoy!
@tsfurlan10 ай бұрын
Oh ok, work on it, where are you located?
@tsfurlan10 ай бұрын
Maybe you should just say index finger on the 9th string. Pinky and ring finger on the 5th and 4th string
@ch3fski10 ай бұрын
@tsfurlan or just do what he says, you clearly know what he's talking about because you tried to point out that his A sounded like an E, ergo you already knew what you were going to say in a derisive way 😊 maybe you need to work on your comprehension of a pretty common accent

Good stuff. Is that a Martin guitar? I know this is a weird thing to notice but I've watched a LOT of youtube videos with acoustic guitar and this is the first time I've heard a guitar sound like MY GUITAR. For the record I don't own a Martin but a Sigma knockoff that is about 30 years old.
