I want to say this song and the timing I found it July 2020, the day of this comment, did something really special for me. My only cat and longtime friend died suddenly of a heart attack a week ago. And I had been feeling lost and devastated. Today, I went to pick up his ashes. And when I got home with him, I turned on KZbin. And this song was at the top. So I played it, just looking for anything really. And all I heard listening was the chorus "And the lights go ooo-n forever". And I felt something uplifting inside me and it gave me some closure for my fallen friend. I love synthwave so much.

I already lived through the '80s ('76 baby here!) so I can die happily before that. Though, it *would* be cool to live through it again. Too bad that, by the time I get there, I will already be in my hundreds, so partying like it's '83 *probably* won't be an option for me.
