The Gadgets of Music Genius Reggie Watts

A Reggie Watts soundcheck is more of a show than a technical exercise. Reggie does the soundcheck himself, meticulously. He checks each of his pedals one by one, tweaks settings until they're just right, and then the hall erupts into an improvised symphony, just for us. Levels are still being adjusted on the fly, but when he starts working "Gizmodo" into the song, you can't get the grin off my face with a crowbar.

Funny how the keyboard is the most expensive thing here and he seems to use it the least in his performances lol

All his performance gear fits in a backpack, that's incredible!! When I want to preform I have to pack up a drum set, 3 amps/cabs, 3 guitar cases, & 4 idiots. I should've gotten into hip-hop there's so much less to unpack.

The microphone he’s using is _not_ the Shure SM57. That’s actually the Shure Beta57 he has; a higher quality/price version.
