Gaia Cafe is returning to Grand Rapids!
Join Andrea Bumstead as she revives the vegetarian restaurant that was a part of Grand Rapids for over 30 years. We'll be documenting their journey, in collaboration with the DAAC, as they get their new building ready with the help of Constructors, INC.

Andrea, this is Jim White. I've been thinking about Gaia ever since I watched the Country Music documentary by Ken Burns. Did you see it? There was this cafe in Nashville called the Blue Bell Cafe (still going). It had this space for musicians. Sort of a circle of chairs where anyone at any time could come in with an instrument and start playing. It became a huge thing as many great musicians found their start and were even discovered there and it seems like Gaia, if you have the space, could be a perfect place for such a thing. We have such a vibrant music scene here and so many good musicians. It could be a win-win for the community and for your business.

What a great video.....so excited to hear your ideas for "reclaiming" Gaia Cafe and giving back to Grand Rapids the dining experience we have so missed these past few years, Nobody does vegetarian like Gaias. Can't wait.
