Thanks! HaHa nice try. The nearest star to earth is 4 light years away it being Proxima Centauri. The furthest stars in our milky way Galaxy are thousands of light years away. From where earth is on the edge of the milky way galaxy to the opposite edge of the galaxy, the distance is 120 kly which is 120,0000 light years across. Beta Hydrae is millions of light years from earth and although I know the exact distance I am not allowed to give it to you because this is tech you yet need to discover.
