Just like the first guy said , he built muscle so his muscle memory on his shit is practically gone . He added muscle so the shit requires a whole different mechanism then it did before

Not insulting or anything but if you play ball you would know the bigger the muscle the harder to control your shot

Pause the video the moment he takes the first right step. The dribble is still live, moving the ball forward. Then he picks the ball up and makes two more steps (left + right). All legal.

From what Giannis said, Jason kid kinda ruined it. The first year told Giannis not to shoot at all. The next year to make some shots and when the 4th year gave him the pass to do whatever he wants he had already lost his confidence. Now he is trying to get it back
@CGGGold5 жыл бұрын
Nah man he gained too much muscle to be able to shoot like that again. But not saying he cant shoot no more just need to adapt with his body now
@astreastar-5 жыл бұрын
Not only was he shorter and smaller, but he also was not afraid to shoot that 3 point shot which surprises me. His jump shot back then looks a little smoother but no follow through, maybe it was his quick release.

@biglen_13 жыл бұрын
Even back during these days, I always knew he was gonna be as good as he is now. He already had literally all the tools and he could even shoot well in these days. He didn’t really have any holes in his game back then until he started lifting weights like crazy.
