I'm not a huge Pistons fan, but I've never forgotten these stats First team to ever win Game 3-4-5 of the NBA Finals on the road (1990) ('91 Bulls would repeat this the next year) First team to win Game 3-4-5 of the NBA Finals at home (2004) ('06 Heat did this, but not in closeout scenario) Only team in NBA Finals history to win Game 6 on the road and force Game 7 after being down 3-2 in a Finals (2005) As the 2-3-2 format is now gone, that last record will probably never be touched. I wish they didn't change it. It was one of the only achievements in NBA history that has never happened. No team has ever come back from 0-3 to win a series, and no team had ever won Game 6 & 7 on the road in the NBA Finals. Ben defended Shaq well, but you can't blame Shaq for the series loss. Look at the most important game 4, final score 88-80, no stats padding, every point counts.
