Xenoblade with that guitar and flute absolutely stood out compared to the other pieces in the medley. I dont care about the awards, im just sad more people wont get to know how good the games whole ost actually is. Imagine then playing the mobius boss theme. Maybe well get a dedicated consert to just xenblade 3.

The Game of the Year orchestra segment is always a standout of the show for me. From that epic rendition of "In the Flood" from Forbidden West to finishing off with the awesome God of War theme. Heck, I've never played Xenoblade, but damn, that bit they played was freaking great. Also Flute Guy. Just, Flute Guy. What a legend. Honestly, I think The Oscars should do this for Best Picture. It really hypes you up for the award.

A lot of people think Xenoblade 3 got robbed for Best OST. Adding to that, the section they played for the game "Weight of Life" is played for two of the more impactful moments in the game. Even more: the flute by itself is important for the game's story. A good soundtrack + impactful moment in the story + important instrument for the story + flutist going hard = banger section for the game awards.

@@FrostedMike I have seen a lot of comments on the Best OST for this year. Many of them resort to bashing Ragnarok's score (rather than be at all constructive like you have), which is just silly to me. Ragnarok still had an incredible soundtrack that was worthy of the win. I mean, Xenoblade 3 at least got nominated, which is more than can be said for something like Fire Emblem Three Houses, which has some of the best music I've heard in a game, music that was completely snubbed at that year's awards.

@@dntm123 I didn't play God Of War so I can't say if it's good or bad. It might deserved it more than XC3 for all I know. From what I heard, GoW got good music but only one or two tracks that you can pinpoint when it plays and remember better than the rest. XC3 have many. Hellsinger is a game built on music so I wouldn't be surprised if it won this category.

Xenoblade is the only one which is unique. The elden ring music is good but its just classic boss music. The way xenoblade included a flute as the integral part of the score and game itself is amazing. It should have won best score. The music in xenoblade is wayyy better than GoW.

@@famillesabot5719 J'ai fait GOW et XC3, je le réaffirme, XC3 c'est fait clairement volé, GOW à de superbe ost mais mis à part "Blood Upon the Snow" et le "Main theme" rien de trop marquant alors que XC3 à "Weight of Life", "Moebius Theme", "You will know ours names final", "Keves battle", "Drifting Soul", "Where we belongs" et j'en passe qui sont masterclass, clairement honteux mais bon Games Awards comme d'hab 🤷
